Champix withdrawals
Afternoon all, Hope you're doing well and staying strong without ciggies. I've been off champix for just under a week and am having weird anxious / grumpy spells which can last from a few minutes to a few hours. From what I've read these symptoms can sometimes be attributed to quitting champix. I didn't

My time to quit for good
Hi everyone, this is going to be my time to quit (I hope) I have up once for 10 months and used champix but cannot use it this time round. Hi! I have stopped smoking now for more than a half year with the help of Champix. Used it for 5 months straight and last month of pills I used weaning off the medication. I am 4 weeks without Champix now, I don't smoke! but am back towards overeating. It is just like I need some kind of fix. Is it

Today is 1 month
Hello all. Feeling proud. It's a month that I haven't smoked. The first few days were definitely tough but as you all said, it does get easier. I still have little urges but after a minute or so they pass. I'm still taking Champix & assume that it takes the edge off but on the whole I rarely think about

My Little Update.....
A little update from me then..... Beginning my 5th week on Champix and 4th week smoke-free! The nausea is still there for about an hour after taking the tablet but does subside. The very peculiar dreams are still a nightly event - just the other night I was signed up to ski for the British Olympic Ski

Quitting with Champix Day 6
HI everyone, this is day 6 for me using Champix and I have set my quit date at day 12. Although I dont see me lasting that long tbh. I feel really sick and the cigs are starting to taste really disgusting. I seem to be smoking purely out of habit. I have started missing out my tea breaks in work so I

Hello all. Today is my 7th day. Feeling very pleased. The hardest was day 1 then each day after that has pretty much been the same. Some irritations, the creepy crawly feeling through my body, a little itchy and panicky but after a few minutes & deep breathing these usually subside fairly fast. I've

16th day of my quit. 23rd day of Champix. I am coping I think & trying to be appreciative but am soooo irritable & quite depressed. Not having cravings too much. Although I struggle with bipolar II disorder, I have been stable for over a decade. I've just lost interest in anyone & anything the past week

First holiday temptation avoided
Hi all, hope you're all well and staying strong. We just returned from a lovely break in France where smoking seems like the nation's favourite passtime. Every street, cafe and place of interest brought with it clouds of smoke which, depending on my mood was either disgusting or really, really tempting

Champix
Hi all. I took Champix some years ago & managed to stop smoking purely because of the nausea & the way it made me have a complete repulsion to nicotine. Unfortunately due to the nausea I stopped taking it during my 3rd week. I consequently fell back into my old habits. This time I've taken Champix again

Omg feel worse than when I smoked
Asthmatic and finally packed in the cigs on the 29th June so 8 days ago . I've been the docs today as I'm really struggling to breathe normally . She was a lovely doc but said she didn't know what to suggest and asked me what I thought ๐๐ we settled on prednisolone as I'm literally so breathless.

Yay! I pick up my Champix on Friday!
I have just heard back from the support nurse and she has confirmed that my doctor has approved my prescription for Champix which I can pick up from the surgery this Friday. She also said not to rush into the start date, take my time and most definitely set it after my holiday. So another major step
