1 week smoke free

Hello all. Today is my 7th day. Feeling very pleased. The hardest was day 1 then each day after that has pretty much been the same. Some irritations, the creepy crawly feeling through my body, a little itchy and panicky but after a few minutes & deep breathing these usually subside fairly fast. I've also had some weird dreams due to the champix I guess. On the plus side there are hours where I don't even think of smoking. In the very beginning I still liked the smell of smoke but last night over drinks with a girlfriend her cig smoke just smelt chemically & ashy & nasty. Just wanted to post this little update. I'm still reading Alan Carr & sometimes Joel's library as recommended & of course following lots of posts on here. ☺️

Well done Sparkle11. You're doing so well. The early weeks are definitely the hardest so it's brilliant you seem to be sailing through them fairly unscathed. Keep going. Day to day. Week to week. You'll be celebrating your anniversary before you know it. 🍀

Thank you. I wouldn't say unscathed but more manageable than I thought. However, this could also be due to Champix.

Good going Sparkle. It's rarely a direct path but it gets better with time.
