GCA AND CURVATURE OF SPINE
Is there anybody out there who is dealing with GCA and Curvature of the spine.I was first diagnosed with curvature at age 12.Wore a brace, which was extremely painful and did nothing. Yesterday, my nurse measured me, and I have lost 4" in height. Distressing. As a child, my Mother was warned of the danger

First Day Completed
On the way home now . First day wasn't to bad . They didn't ask for my bank details or my DBS . I asked the teachers classroom who I'm in and she said they will probably do it Monday . I hope so . I learn how to do resuscitation . I was bit worried because I haven't got a lot of strength in my hands

I've been on higher doses of cortisone the last month or so to get over a chronic GvHD in my liver, after initial improvement things have regressed, my consultant is seriously considering replacing the corticoid by Jakavi (Ruxolitinib). I'd never heard of Ruxo being used like this, anyone have any feedback

GCA and Pred reduction
I started at 60 mg Predisilone and am now on 45 mg. How do you know if you are getting a flare or a reaction to the reduction - ie your body doesnt like having less steroid? Also - I think I have been suffering from Sinus problems but I think I read that GCA symptoms can include sinus - does anyone

Thoughts can help RA
Each of us is an individual and each affected differently by this disease, the way we think about it can also make a difference, sometimes without us even being aware of what we are doing. If we refer to ourselves or think of ourselves in a negative manner this becomes a habit and a habit thats hard

Unexpected Pregnancy with APS
I had a positive pregnancy test this morning. Last year my OB/GYN told me that carrying to term could kill me. I'm at the doctor now, waiting. I've been switched (first call was to my hematologist) from Pradaxa to Lovonox shots. My husband doesn't know yet because he's at work. I start law school next

Does anybody have vocal chord dysfunction?
I have just been diagnosed with this after years of telling my GP the feeling I got during exercise was not normal asthma. I've been referred to speech and language therapy to learn to control it - just wondering if anybody has been through this and what to expect?
