Covid infection time scale please?
ts fair to say I am panicking as Ive just had a phone call from my friend to say she has tested positive this morning after starting to feel unwell yesterday (Friday). She came to my home on Thursday (negative test same morning) while I went to hospital for a pre op check. While she was here to look

Hospital madness
I’m pretty shocked tonight. I’ve been quite ill this year, spent some time in hospital, had a few trips to a and e, had multiple outpatient appointments over the last few months, my fear throughout was contracting covid when being so unwell and omicron rates were so high. I have to say that through

Covid again!
My husband belongs to a golf club and Covid has been about there for about a month (after the golf holiday ) so he's been testing and unfortunately two weeks ago he tested positive. He has no symptoms apart from a sniffle. So I've tested every other day and all are negative so has the vaccine worked

Restarting methotrexate after Covid
When I tested positive for Covid on June 5 my rheumatologist said to stop the methotrexate and my 2.5 mg of prednisone. I did really well for over two weeks and then my wrists and hands flared up as bad as when I was first diagnosed ( 2015) with RA. I was told to wait to restart the methotrexate until

Caught COVID abroad?
I am immunosuppressed after treatment with rituximab and cannot produce antibodies against COVID. I would like to fly home to visit family. Have any of you travelled whilst still immunosuppressed? Has anyone ever caught COVID abroad? What did you do?

2.5 Years — We did good
So we have done our very best to avoid getting COVID for two and a half very long years … Today I officially have COVID, and Momma is showing signs. She tested negative yesterday, but we will test again on Saturday. We are double vax and boosted. It’s like a really bad summer cold - I had a bad day

COVID got me!
I had my 5th vaccine just 4 weeks ago. I am now on day 6 of Covid. I dread to think what might have happened to me if I hadn’t had all that protection…I am wiped out, weak as a baby, head full of concrete…

Flare ups, COVID & medication changes
Mostly just a rant for me to get stuff off my chest - feel free to skip haha. A few weeks ago, I came down with COVID, for the second time this year. This time round was worse I found, I was out of breath and exhausted for longer, stopped all my hobbies, and completely lost my appetite. It's been a few

So only gone and caught bloomin Rona 🥴. Covid dispatch team just rang asking if I wanted to be prescribed antiviral treatment or if I feel my immune is fighting it? Sorry but how the heck do I know that??? I said I'm terrified given I'm still living with long covid from 2019. She said the meds have

Asthma, Covid and Pred
I tested positive for Covid last Saturday (2.7.) Not too bad, sore throat and a bit tired. However, it has increased my asthma symptoms, which are usually very mild. I was aware of wheezing, and slight shortness of breath on exertion. I upped my inhaled steroid (Fostair 100/6) from 1 puff twice a

Will it ever go ?
I caught Covid from a passenger sat next to me on the plane despite wearing a mask, she was coughing and sneezing and even stuffing her used tissues in the pocket on the back of the seat in front of her, what a skank. Anyway I had a course of antivirals and touch wood it hasn't developed into anything
