I hope not many. When we traveled on the ferries last Sept they had good measures in place and sitting outside I felt safe

in reply to Suzie42

It's different on these cruise ships though you tend to mingle. So very risky

Yes ofcourse, not a lover of cruise ships, never fancied them 🀣

in reply to Suzie42

Not my cup of tea either 🀣

I agree, what I always think, is if I do not like somebody, how can I escape, even on the large ones, I wonder how I would get away.

in reply to SORRELHIPPO

I know I used to imagine someone pulling the plug out on the ship when I was little πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ƒ

Not going on a cruise anytime soon that’s for sure. XxxπŸ’•πŸ˜Ž

in reply to sassy59

No it does present problems πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ issues flying issues via ship no one walks on water no one called Icarus so we're stumped πŸ˜‚πŸ˜±xxx

Been lucky not to get the dreaded big c,though I live in a block of flats, nobody has had it were I live.

in reply to Wonderboy6

You have been lucky buddy . Cases here had dropped right off until tourists arrived and Greeks came from mainland to open the hotels then they rose again fast

So very sad, if only people gave it some thought, still, you cannot educate pork, that's for sure.

in reply to Wonderboy6

Your not wrong . Bloody governments dropping all restrictions was a huge mistake though some should have been kept in place . It makes it more dangerous for us and even going shopping is like running a guantlet

Bloody government is a huge mistake,if 69 million people died, I would be queen,I would sort it.

in reply to Wonderboy6

If 69 million people died here I would own my own island and be master of all I can see πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Sure worth thinking about, if only haha

in reply to Wonderboy6

Mmm 🧐 hey one advantage no COVID no monkey pox no tax man πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ ok no food no electric mmm maybe a few people might help πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜‚

No food, the mayor has a poor fund in place will have to pay him a visit.

in reply to Wonderboy6

It's a small island so if 69 million dead no mayor πŸ˜‚ I would have to smash every shop window to do my shopping πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜‚ mind you I would have to arrest myself for wanton destruction but could sentence myself to community service πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

That’s a very atmospheric photo. I like the idea of going on a cruise but not sure I’d fancy it at the moment!

in reply to Firefly25

No in the present I really wouldn't want to go on a cruise. It's shopping day for me which I do once a month to the other side of the island , and it's like putting your self in harms way it's full of tourists. I still wear my mask and so does my friend but it's still risky

A cruise to me is like having a break in a petrifies hour!!!!!!!! I've got covid currently no matter how careful one is others simply do not care a hoot

You are oh so spot on πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

I would hate to be on a huge cruise ship like that. I can not imagine being contained on a ship with upto 6500 people. I don't think I have ever been somewhere with that many people!!

in reply to Digger0

I go In panic mode if more than ten people in the shop πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I do especially now, and I'm masked!

in reply to Digger0

Snap even with the heat I wear my mask

We’ve got plenty here now without being on a ship. It would be lovely if there were no Covid.

in reply to Mavary

Not just COVID though monkey pox is coming up aswell

Mavary in reply to

Well luckily over here it seems to be only over London way.

in reply to Mavary

Just hope it doesn't go the way of covid

Mavary in reply to

Let’s hope not. I thought it had gone away but it’s back again.

in reply to Mavary

Today after going shopping my friend took me for a coffee only to be sat less than three foot away from a group of English guys in their twenties bragging about getting on holiday with COVID . Obviously we didn't stay because no amount of coffee is worth getting COVID over . Really peed me off

Mavary profile image
Mavary in reply to

I must admit I’ve become more wary. It does worry me that I might get it.

in reply to Mavary

My oncologist and pulmonologist both said it would be dangerous for me to get covid no matter which variant it is

Mavary profile image
Mavary in reply to

Are you wearing a mask to protect yourself.

in reply to Mavary

It's the one time I didn't have my mask I usually wear it everywhere but going for a quiet coffee I didn't expect it . Who was the idiot byes I'm holding up my hand βœ‹ .
