Shaving down pills
Hi everyone, my mum who I’ve written about a lot here (80, restless legs along growth a whole host of other issues ) has perked up no end since getting her on electrolytes. I’m delighted as it feels like I’ve got my mum back. Now she’s a little stronger, I feel like we could start to finally cut down

No period ever
hi everyone, Thank you for always being such a supportive community. I have been going through IVF because of unexplained fertility, mainly I just don’t get my period. I am an avid runner but not underweight. It seems my estrogen is always on the low side and I just don’t have cycles or ovulate. I

Post Lap No Endo found
Hi everyone, I had my laparoscopy to look for endometriosis on the 5th October. When I woke up, I asked if they found anything and they said no endometriosis was found. I could NOT stop crying all day as I was 100% sure I had it since I have every single symptom plus a family history (literally my mum

Confused
I had my first appointment with an endo specialist today. I think I'm still in shock at the whole situation to be honest and am trying to sort things out in my head. I've just turned 40 and there's no history of endo in my family. I've been diagnosed with endo and adenomyosis. The endo is between

Started #Zoladex to treat uterine #Polyps & bleeding/spotting is not stopping!!!
Guys I’m really hoping you can help or offer insight. I started experiencing irregular bleeding after taking progesterone only birth control pills. I continued onto the next pack and I didn’t stop bleeding. Dr gave me Tranexamic Acid and it stopped it for a while and continued taking pill every day

periods after stopping mini pill
Hi everyone, I had surgery last may and since then I tried noriday for about 8months then desogestral for around 4 months. I felt neither helped. I was still bleeding quite frequently and longer although not as heavy and mentally didn’t feel myself. So I stopped. It took 60 days to get a period but

Our first baby
I've been on birth control implants for over a decade, and I stopped using them about 3-4 years ago. Throughout this journey, I've relied on the Natural Cycles app and taken countless ovulation tests in the hopes of getting pregnant. Our optimism was slowly fading, leading us to visit our GP and undergo

Options?
Endometriosis formally diagnosed via laparoscopy 2023, however had no effect and still in chronic pain. Due to other medical issues can’t go on any contraceptives and HRT. Tried the Decapaptyl (GNRH) injections but bleed 24/7 with them?! Endo BGSE specialist has said there are no other options as hysterectomy

Accidently took 2 Calquence tablets last night instead of one
I've been on Calquence for about 1.5 years. Started with 1 pill 2x daily and eventually cut back to just the evening dose. The morning dose was more than I could handle. Messed up my stomach, digestion and I got so tired that I couldn't really accomplish any thing during the day due to extreme fatigue

Feeling deflated
I had my follow up with the consultant today, after having my ultrasound in August. He said that my uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries look healthy, and that if there is endometriosis then it is ‘superficial’. He said that surgery isn’t necessary because of this. He wants me to come off the implant

diagnosed - what happens now?
I was a late developer. I didn’t get a period till I was 15, and when I did they were never regular. I was anorexic so my periods went pretty much forever. Then I got addicted to alcohol and my periods went again and then when I got clean and ate normally, my periods returned. Then I was having to move

I’ve have endo, adeno and a history of cysts. Last year I was suffering with extreme bloating and nausea and I paid to see a private gynaecologist who put me back on the pill alongside the mirena and I improved.
