periods after stopping mini pill

Hi everyone, I had surgery last may and since then I tried noriday for about 8months then desogestral for around 4 months. I felt neither helped. I was still bleeding quite frequently and longer although not as heavy and mentally didn’t feel myself. So I stopped. It took 60 days to get a period but now since then I’m on another 45 days and I’m suffering with hot flashes and night sweats ( not sleeping), joint pain in my hands ( awaiting x ray results) and dry down below. I keep getting a bit of tummy ache like I’m going to come on a period but nothing showing. I’m 46. Did anyone stop the pill and go straight into peri/ menopause? I was getting just night sweats before my surgery but they seem to improve after so I thought it was my ovarian cyst and had them just a few times while on the pill, but this is another level!
