Mini pill worsened

hey!

Did the mini pill make your symptoms worse? I was told to go on the pill to reduce symptoms of endo but ever since I have started taking it I am in chronic pain every day!

wondered if anyone else has experience the same!

Hey, yes the mini pill was awful for me. I battled through 5 weeks and my GP advised me to come off it. From the first day it triggered the pain even worse than normal and it was relentless, everyday, for over a month. I kept thinking well I’m sure it’ll ease tomorrow, just need to give it time but I was losing the plot. Painkillers did nothing. My mood also really tanked and I just couldn’t function. Sounds dramatic but it did not suit me at all.

May be worth having a chat with whoever prescribed it. Don’t keep suffering, I’ve found I have had to fight to be heard and not just fobbed off x
