How long does it normaly take Dofetilide to work?
I have been taking dofetilide for just over 1 month. I don't have AF but thousands of PAC's, ectopics and atrial tachycardia every day. These palpitations keep me awake for hours every night. So far I have seen no relief from palpitations. I see the doctor next week and I want to get off the pills because

Does anyone feel irritated and stressed more often than normal.
Hi I’m currently waiting on a diagnostic laparoscopy but as you can imagine the waiting list is long. I’m on the progesterone only pill but I don’t feel like it helps as my gynaecologist keeps suggesting it does. I have constant pain in my left side, pelvis and hip on bad days it goes into my left

Cerazette weight and high BP issues.
I'm currently taking the pill cerazette and have been for about 7 years. I'm over weight and have high blood pressure but anything I do to try lose weight seems to prove impossible. I walk at least 5 miles a day along with other exercise and eat super healthy. I was doing so well and had a kick in the

My first doctors appointment was in 2006
Hi all, I have been seeing the doctor since I was 13 years old with extremely painful and heavy periods, to be told they’re just period pains. I’ve been with irregular bleeding, painful urination, the lost goes on. As I have got older, especially in the last three years I have been in so much pain

Cerrelle constant bleeding
I was given the progesterone only pill because I can’t take the combination pill as I have aurora migraines and it increases the risk of stroke. Well I have been bleeding constantly for two weeks. I’ve been on it for 5 weeks. I can handle the annoyance of a constant period but not the pain and discomfort

Struggling with Premenstrual Symptoms & Hypothyroidism
Apart from the standard advice, is there any way to manage PMS? Is there a link between the severity of PMS and hypothyroidism? I've always had irregular periods, even before I developed Hypo. I'd always have to miss 1-2 days of school at the start of my cycle due to the severity of the symptoms. I went

Antivirals
Hi All, I tested positive on Wednesday via LFT so sent my priority pcr which came back Thursday as positive. Told I would be called within 24 hours regarding anti virals. 40 hours goes by and nothing. I then called my GP who said no point calling us you need to call 111. So I called 111 and after another

Please help. Where do I go next?
I had my first gynaecology appointment this morning and have come away feeling like I haven’t been listened to and my symptoms are not real. I am considering my next steps and whether to go back to my GP. I had been waiting 1.5 years for this appointment and feel very upset that I may now not get any

any advice on choice of blood thinners please ?
unfortunately the Kardia mobile I bought ( thanks so much all of you for the advice on this) has confirmed that I am having regular episodes of AF ( bit not this time fast AF) followed by SR with ( sequentially wide QRS and PVCs and Supraventricular ectopy. This latter now appears to be the default

Struggling to get a diagnosis
Hi! I have been getting symptoms of endometriosis since I was 15 and I am 26. I have been to the GP on several occasions over the past 11 years with symptoms and they brushed it off as painful periods and gave me the pill. Most recently I changed GP surgery and finally seen a GP that listened to me.

Post Catheter Ablation
I'm 72, fit, considered generally healthy, although I had an ablation 7 days ago. It went 'smoothly' according to the electrophysiologist. This treatment came as a choice after 2 years of Paroxysmal AF episodes. My symptoms were very pronounced. The 'pill in the pocket' didn't really help me. However

Mirena coil malposition, low lying
I’m tempted to just remove and go cold turkey no hormonal
contraception
and management plan endo wise because I feel like I need to listen to my body saying nope to the coil again and again. I don’t want to go back on the pill I’ve tried them all and no luck before.

Best natural cure!
Can i just really strengthen the positive outcomes of accupuncture to everyone. Not only myself but a few others i know have benefitted from ZERO pain for over two years now from having this treatment. Way better then messing about with your hormones with the pill. It's totally unjustifiable why the

What it really means to have IBS
If you’ve recently been diagnosed with IBS, you’re most likely scouring the internet for information on how to naturally treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). As a hypnotherapist who was diagnosed back in 2011 with IBS, I’m hoping my experience can shed some light on this poorly understood condition

I hope I don’t sound stupid but I’m up worrying so thought I would come on and put pen to paper (so to say).. My IVF consultant told me to abstain from alcohol from when we met her in December. Can anyone relate?
Pains that were put down as endometriosis go as follows: - Heavy & painful periods (have mefenaic acid to help although I was given back-to-back
contraception
to try alleviate the pain but would still bleed through) - Pain during and after intercourse, bleeding post intercourse -

Heat hurting heart?
hey heart friends, Is anyone finding this heat is hurting them (for those in UK)? My heart was funky last night and tonight my stomach is crunching and painful (maybe dodgy rice!). Just finding this weather quite hard on my PVCs, which are already at tens of thousands a day. Also, for anyone who

update on the ecg I posted 2 weeks ago!
so was at cardiologist today for my 3 month post ablation follow up for AF. He’s thinking there is a good chance the AF has gone. I showed him the ecg traces from my Apple Watch which some of you had suggested bigeminy PVCs and that’s exactly what they are. He has me on a 24 hour monitor just now to

Paroxysmal AF with new Widening QRS and RBBB.
Hello All: This is my first post. I have become used to my paroxysmal AFIB (don't like it but am used to it), however, I have become increasingly concerned about my very recent increase in my QRS. My EKGs have always be normal except for the AFIB and PVC's etc. But in the last three months (I'm 58
