Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me.I'm 39 and I was diagnosed with adenomyosis 18 months ago. I was on the pill for 18 years! As soon as I went off it. I found out I had adenomyosis.
I've been TTC for the past 12 months. Tried 4 rounds of letrozole and ive had a laparoscopy.
I started developing more chronic constant pain around my bum/tailbone 7 months ago. It's impacting on my life hugely. I'm assuming it's from my adenomyosis.
I now need to make a decision. I have applied for the public IVF here in Ireland. My gynaecologist recommended either the mini pill or decapeptyl injections to potentially lessen the pain until I get called for IVF.
I don't know when I will be called. This decision is driving me mad. I'm aware of my age so I can't afford to wait around stalling ok a decision. Any advice would be really appreciated.
Thanks

I also have adenomyosis and get that pain. My gyny did an ultrasound and MRI and found rectovaginal endometriosis as well, has you gyny checked you for endometriosis in the pouch of Douglas/recto area? It might not be the adenomyosis that is causing that pain xx
