Is this normal?
Hi everyone, I've recently been diagnosed with endometriosis, I had a laparoscopy just under 6 weeks ago and things seemed to be going ok as I'd had no symptoms. I'm on the combined pill, haven't missed any and yet I've started to get extremely bad period pain for the past 9 days and started bleeding

Mistake of taking Lisinopril with Caffeine
So, I only came across an article by accident but it stated that taking BP pills with coffee lowers the effect of the BP pill. Is this correct. I must admit pretty much every day I've taken the pill after I've eaten my breakfast and swallowed it with my morning cup of coffee. I've stopped that for now

Private healthcare?
They’ve offered me
contraception
which I cannot cope with (my body rejects it every time) , told me to get pregnant, and in my last appointment said my only other option is ‘pain management therapy’.

SENSITIVE POST - low AMH at 31.
My husband and I had been actively trying to conceive from the age of 29 although when I met him at 25 we had decided not to use any
contraception
. I come from a very fertile family and so was expected to fall pregnant quickly.

Anyone experiencing absence of periods or very light periods (spotting) with hypothyroidism/Hashimotos? PVC nightmare
PVCs are weird heartbeat sensations. Fluttering, pounding , flipfopping….had them for 20 years and recently learned how to deal with them. But they’ve gotten worse lately. Had testing including ekg, stress test, etc. All good. That’s reassuring until I have another attack. It is crazy making and I feel

Endometriosis regrowing?
Hi ladies, I had my third extensive excision surgery for stage 4 endometriosis in 2019. I’ve been suffering for over 16 years. I was then fortunate enough to give birth to our baby 8 months ago. She’s breast fed so I haven’t had any periods yet thank goodness but the past few weeks I’m feeling sharp

Hormonal Treatment (Maexeni), is it effective as pain management?
Hello everyone. I have just been diagnosed, I have 4cm of ovarian cyst on my right. Pain management is not going well with me. I have been off work for 2 weeks now and I feel like I’m still not ready to go back to work as I really want this sorted out first. Doctor advised me that “The Pill” can help

A ‘Normal’ Day
Hi everyone, I’ve had a journey on bisoprolol so far and I can’t at this stage say I’m completely happy with the medication nor whether I am tolerating it all that well. I still feel like my breathing is quite laboured at times and keep petrifying myself with google searches that I have given myself

Birth control while using methotrexate.
Hi. I’m on methotrexate at the moment for psoriasis and arthritis. I was wondering what birth control you ladies are on. I’m on depo at the moment but really thinking about changing as I think it’s made me out in a lot of weight and it can give you osteoporosis. Can anyone help? X

7 weeks post op - still in pain?
7 weeks post diagnostic laparoscopy with excision of Endometriosis. I haven't really taken note of if the pain has gotten better or worse as it's still early days. Today I am in so much pain in my lower belly, almost as if I'm about to start bleeding but I'm not due for another week. I don't take any

Endometriosis and migraines
Hi, I'm suffering from both endometriosis and hormone migraines (before or during the first days of my period). My GP doesn't seem too interested in helping, possibly due to lack of knowledge. I seem to remember that while I was on contraceptives a long time ago, both conditions got a bit better, but

Pregnancy obsession
Hi everyone, does anyone elses OCD severely impact their ability to judge risk? Typing that out I’m realizing of course it does- but my current problem is that my brain will literally not allow me to stop obsessing that I could be pregnant even though rationally I know the chance is very minimal. I had
