Help with managing pain and day to day life? :(
Hi I've recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis and am waiting for an appointment in March.... I've been put on the contraceptive pill that stops your periods. I've been asked to get a coil but to be honest I don't want it. One of my close friends has endo and shes had the surgery to get tissue removed

Endo, adeno and PCOS. Any tips?
I have had bad experiences with hormonal
contraception
and these haven't proved effective either, so they are also off the table. I'm feeling very low and wondered if there's anyone on here who also has all 3 conditions/suffers fatigue and has any tips they can share?

Potential endo and non-hormonal IUD
I think I have endo, or something similar. I've been on painkillers, NSAIDs and have had an ultrasound that was normal. I am now waiting for my referral to the gyno. I was recommended the birth control pill when I was younger to reduce the symptoms but I don't want anything hormonal. I got the non-hormonal

Dienogest or Hysterectomy?
Hi everyone, thank you for sharing your journeys. I've said this before, but this forum is a massive support for me. I don't post often but it's the first thing I open in the morning and would be lost without the feeling g of support I get from you all. I was wondering if anyone has been on Dienogest

Scar tissue?
Any thoughts on scar tissue after removal of bowel endometriosis? Is surgery worth it? Can scar tissue be prevented? I don't know whether to get surgery but my symptoms were debilitating before I started taking the pill; and even though its a lot better, I am still pretty limited in what I can do now

GYNO APPNT GONE WRONG
I know NHS is on its knees as somone who works there and am studying to work within it I feel like I have been significantly let down. Birth control help PLEASE
Hi looking some birth control advise please. I am 22 and I am in a relationship with my boyfriend since I was 17. I want to protect myself from getting pregnant. Since being sexually active, I have tried different birth control methods. Originally, starting with the combined pill. I was awful at remembering

Afib or palpitations?
Once in a while I get very irregular heartbeats after I go to bed at night. My Dr. said they are palpitations and not afib and did not occur during the 24 hour holter monitor, but I noticed a pattern as to when they occur: always after a very salty and probably MSG restaurant meal and a few drinks with

Endo pain
I was diagnosed over a year ago with mild endometriosis and put onto first the combined pill and now the progesterone only pill. I can no longer take the combined pill due to migraines and my age. However I have noticed recently that I have started spotting and getting cramps/backache periodically.

Diagnosed but…. What now?
I’ve been diagnosed with ‘severe’ endo and although it is great to finally know what it is - I am so confused about the next step!! They basically said it’s low and deep and very near blood vessels and nerve endings so removal, although possible, would require very highly skilled surgery and will likely

Pursuing diagnosis
I’ve had symptoms coinciding with my pill break for the last year (pain, perineal pressure, a pulling feeling like my insides are being pulled down during bowel movements) and the GP has said it might be endo. I had a transvaginal ultrasound which came back normal. Aside from that, I’ve been on the

No one is offering any answewers or help
Hey, just wanted some advice or similar stories. I've had endo for around 10 years 4 laparoscapys later and I've been told I can't have any more as it could cause too much damage. I use the contraceptive pill to manage the endo as I've tried pretty much everything else. They don't really want to help

Monthly thrush ruining my life
Hi all. Long story short I have been getting recurrent thrush for 4 years, ever since I lost my virginity to my current partner. We have both been treated and I have even done long term courses of fluconazole (150mg a week for 6 months) this keeps the thrush away but 6 months after the last tablet it

I'm new here
Hi everyone, I'm so glad I came across this page as I feel reassured and more educated already. I went on the pill at 15, to stop my extremely heavy and painful periods and since then everything was fine - periods were regular, a normal amount of pain etc. A year ago, at 22, I decided I no longer wanted
