Colonoscopy at 19
Hi everyone. I’m 19. I’m getting a Colonoscopy tomorrow but I’m freaking out. Not exactly over the procedure itself but more so for the results. I’m scared of getting diagnosed with Colon Cancer. I know my demographic for it is very low. Honestly I wasn’t even the one who asked for the procedure. I guess

Looking forward to my next colonoscopy.
I just had my regular colonoscopy. Everything is fine. I don’t have to have another one for five years. I’m actually looking forward to it because if I have it that’ll mean I’ve survived another five years. I’m looking forward to many more colonoscopies. It’s interesting how PCa changes one’s perspective

Hi all.. I've finally got my colonoscopy results no inflammation in the colon and the consultant has out down ulcers to the bowel prep. Is it normal to have periods where you have 0 appetite? That's my biggest concern really.

I'm new here, unfortunately. :)
Hello, I had colon cancer in 1993, with surgery for resection, radiation and chemotherapy. Clear colonoscopies ever since. Successfully removed melanoma from left ear in 2005. I was diagnosed in early October (2021) with prostate cancer. After a series of reports, an MRI, bone scan, and CT scan,

Pain and Rumbling
I've had a lot of tummy rumbling and loose stools lately. I get a lot of wind too. Today I've got a hard pain in my lower left side. It comes every now and again. I do have Celiac disease and I avoid Lactose. I haven't eaten anything I shouldn't have. Now I'm getting worried in case it's something

IBS-D & yeast/candida connection?
37 M here. I've always been prone to toenail fungus and jock itch. In 2008 I was finally put on a long course (6 months) of antibiotics to treat the toenails. Shortly afterwards in 2009 I wen through a very stressful legal battle and began to have digestion issues -loose bowels, having to run to bathroom

DNA test
Are stool DNA tests accurate? I’ve been having troubles completing bowl preparations for colonoscopy. I’ve had a flexible sigmoidoscopy and abdominal ultrasound and blood tests all come back 100% normal (except a hemorrhoid) I’m wondering if a stool test would be an okay test to do. I’m 24 and symptoms

Help
I was supposed to have a colonoscopy today but last night during the prep I almost fainted, I couldn’t catch my breath and my heart was racing. I had to either stop or call 911. The clinic called back today and said that they’ll have to call me back for another appointment but sounded annoyed and didn

Inflammation
Hi All.. I had a colonoscopy early June and have still recieved results. The consultant did tell me he saw inflammation and ulcers in my stomach. Does anyone else have periods where they just have no appetite and a really noisy stomach. Pain only appears on the right side..I'm not sure what's going on

I'm terrified that I have colon cancer.
I have had a lot of the symptoms for colon cancer over the past 6 months. One doctor told me that it was probably IBS. My family doctor told me, that because of my age (59), it probably isn't IBS. I can't get a colonoscopy for 6 - 7 months (the wait list is that long). I tried going private but our

Gastroscopy and colonoscopy - effects on heart?
A couple of days ago I had a gastroscopy and colonoscopy. At the moment I'm experiencing a missed beat after every 4th beat, and this has been continuing for several hours. I was wondering if this increase in symptoms had any connection to the procedures. Perhaps someone has experienced the same problem

What a journey!
I have been on this group for almost two years posting about the blood I saw on my stool, it was always minimal but at times very dark, I even posted pics 🤢. I had symptoms before I became pregnant, I then had a colonoscopy 8 months after I gave birth, they kept delaying it because I’m only 31. Well

Colonoscopy
Hi, I’m so worried, I have just been referred for a colonoscopy, and I’m concerned about taking my preds with no food, or not taking them at all. I am currently at week three following Dorset Lady’s slow taper from 3.5 to 3 . Help please on what to do.
