Just found out I had UC(proctitis)

They gave me hydrocortisone suppository I have been using it days 6 now still see blood on poop and wipe but had my colonoscopy done at the same time doctor said it will bleed atleast 12 to 15 days so hang in there I do get bubbles here and there what should I do

Hi PapaI know it's scary seeing blood in your stools and on the toilet paper but the main thing is you have had a colonoscopy and now know what your condition is. Just do as the doctor says and you will be ok, they will monitor you at regular intervals to make sure all is well so try not to worry, but get back in touch with the doctor if you are at all concerned, that's what they are there for.
