Graves lack of appetite & feeling very low.
I have my follow up endo appointment on 4th March by telephone to discuss my bloods which I need to have taken again next week. I was diagnosed on 22nd January with graves, the GP requested the Trab test back in October but it was refused, it was only after I’d seen the endo that the test was the retaken

Colonoscopy
Hello, I’ve been having various bowel issues for the past few months, ie. constipation, bloating, slight pain in lower back, bit of diarrhoea and my Dr would like me to go for a colonoscopy. As there’s no bleeding, I assumed it could be something else. Am I wrong to think this? Any advice welcome

colonoscopy
Hi…so had colonoscopy today and said all ok but have taken biopsies anyway - what would they be looking for if camera looked ok ? Can they still be concerned about cancers ? The nurse said because I have had ongoing diarrhoea but all a bit vague- had sedation so I probably didn’t ask the right questions

Update on colonoscopy
I just wanted to update everyone on my last post, I’m also hoping this might help to ease the mind of anyone in a similar situation. I had my colonoscopy yesterday, the colonoscopy itself was actually ok, I had sedation which made it totally bearable, I would say if anyone is feeling anxious about it

Colon cancer after CLL diagnosis
Things were going so well. At 63 and while living in France for a work contract, my husband, who already has HF low EF (which I managed to improve recently to an EF of 43%) and who has always been in excellent shape with diet and physical exercise, was diagnosed with CLL in the spring of 2023 . We

Sue perhaps you can help me, I have been successfully relying on diet for years but RLS seems to be catching up. I am in Australia. Perhaps its simply a matter of getting older (currently 79) but a couple of other things might be a problem. I tore a hamstring muscle or tendon that apparently caused

Incomplete Evacuation and Diarrhoea
Hi there, 26yo female suffering with debilitating daily morning diarrhoea followed by incomplete evacuation, where it feels like my muscles just stop moving and there's an obstruction. I was diagnosed with IBS in 2020 when symptoms started, tried fodmap diet, mebeverine, linseeds, anitbiotics for suspected

Polyps and Abdominal Pain
Background Dec 2023, I started to experience pain when poo’ing, and some significant constipation, that was only relieved with laxatives , once every five days; January 2024 I saw blood on the toilet tissue and started to suffer from abdominal pains. I contacted my GP and after she realised I had

Colon Journey
I thought I’d share my journey leading up to this point and I hope to continue to update as things move along. I hate it when nobody updates. Timeline: 12 years ago: After my first daughter turned 1 I went to the bathroom with blood in stool. It was super bright red and a lot. Went to the doctor and

Debilitating Stomach Pain
Hello everyone, I am at my wits end with suffering from stomach pains and swelling since I first started my treatment 4 years ago on ibrutinib, along with 3 days a week antibiotic (morning and night) and a daily Aciclovir tablet. Initially, after about 4–6 months on the drugs, my lower legs and feet

Waiting for laparascopic Hysterectomy but struggling with womb and bowel symptoms
Hello everyone, I hopefully have a date next month for a laparoscopic Hysterectomy - waiting for confirmation in writing. Have been waiting for nearly 2 years on NHS. I am age 40, living in Scotland. I had none of these Gynae issues until about 3 years ago. Since then, I have had heavy bleeding, cramps

still not 100%
I don’t have a fever and my throat only hurts when I first wake up. Then it goes away. I have so much post nasal drip so I think that’s what’s making it hurt. I was out of work for two days due to my colonoscopy, and tomorrow is looking like it’ll be a snow day due to a huge storm. I am going to try

more bleeding and pain after Colonoscopy 2 weeks ago
Hi all, Wondering whether anyone else has experienced worse symptoms (particularly more bleeding) following colonoscopy? it’s nearly 3 weeks later and bleeding worse than before the procedure. Gastro refuses to acknowledge this - she says I’m just in a bad flare. I can’t understand why it is worse
