Colposcopy

The nurse has referred me to colposcopy to see if they can do it with better equipment or pain relief. I took paracetamol before the first appointment which didn't do anything. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had experiences with colposcopy and what might happen. Thank you x

I’ve recently had abnormal smear too and getting a colposcopy next week. I had a private transvaginal ultrasound which confirmed adenomyosis again and my GP have just said there’s not much change from my last scan so keep waiting, despite there being a big change in symptoms.

I have a colposcopy scheduled for just after my next period which will be my first natural bleed after my second failed cycle. I had an appointment in august before my first cycle and they didn’t take a biopsy because I wanted to to ahead with the cycle.
