Yet another AI disease
I already suffer with Sjögren's syndrome and ulcerative
colitis
so I have thought for a long time that these symptoms were due to these AI diseases but it seems not. Medication wise I take hydroxychloroquin plus mtx injections for my sjogrens and mesalazine and infliximab infusions for my UC.

What is wrong with me
My stomach issues have never really been properly investigated, although I have had blood tests for Coeliac, Chron's and
Colitis
- all non conclusive.

Extremely Concerned About Low Pottasium and B12
This low pottasium thing scares the hell out of me cos I've heard it can be life threatening (although my GP says my pottasium levels are normal)....They are also looking into the stomach thing for things like ulcerative
colitis
, Chron's or coeliac.....I'm in an absolute mess with this and have no idea

Ulcerative colitis
Hi there I have ulcerative
colitis
for the past 12 years and have been using Asacol. At the moment I'm experiencing the same symptoms being anxiety attack, heart palpitations and just not feeling myself since I've started taking Salazopyrin for the last two weeks.

Does hormones cause ulcerative colitis flares?
I'm curious as to whether anyone has suffered with
colitis
flares when they have altered either their thyroid meds or contraceptives?

Results of stools and bloods
They said raised levels would indicate
colitis
or crohns, but didn't mention diverticulitis. I am now keeping a really detailed food and symptom diary before returning to the doctors for further investigation. I am absolutely at the end of my tether with this!

Our son, Grant ( age 15) has been diagnosed with APS - "let's talk about the new experimental Antibodies"
He started with ulcerative
colitis
( bleeds) at age 6, and unusual levels of one of the b vitamins in grade 2, so abdominal lymphoma was suspected. We were sent to a pedi hematologist then- it was ruled out. That's how we happen to already be in the care of a pedi hematologist.

Desperately Need Advice Regarding B12
I also had stomach problems (what they think may be ulcerative
colitis
I am under investigation for this) persistent yeast and water infections. This got worse and worse for about a year (although I had had symptoms before that), and then I developed angioedema.

It's been a bad six months
Noting lasts forever , and throughout March I had severe bouts of nausea and ghastly stomach , which was thought to be
colitis
, a side effect of drug . Sigmoidoscopy proved negative as did biopsies .

Tired,tired,tired
I've had chronic bowel disease for thirty years so I'm used to these sort of tests, but usually it's just to check on the
colitis
and stomach ulcers,so now I will be adding huge doses of iron and folic acid to the ever growing repeat scripts.

Colitis (inflammatory bowel disease)
I have just been diagnosed with
colitis
, a kind of inflammatory bowel disease. I have had epilepsy since the age of about 14, about 16 years ago. Does anyone's else have both of these illnesses? Have you found they interact with each other at all? Thanks, Amy

Ulcerative Colitis
Due to rectal bleeding my GP sent me for a colonoscopy which I had today. It turns out I have UC and I never knew. Apparently I'm currently having a flare up hence the bleeding.

IBS/IBD?
Can Crohn's /
Colitis
be missed on a colonoscopy? Can it be present elsewhere? Would an MRI definitely show Crohn's? Could it all be in my head? But how can diarrhea be in your head when it's a physical symptom? Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance

Can Crohn's /
