Request for information please!
I'm 54 and have a diagnosis of Systemic Sclerosis (scleroderma) and also ulcerative
colitis
. All part of the lovely auto immune group of conditions... However, recently I have been getting burning type head and neck aches, mostly starting at the back of my head and working upwards.

Another newbie
My weight loss was put down to my dormant
colitis
, MRI on head was negative and I was weighed but no one seemed to take any notice of it ongoing. Finally suite of tests ordered in January resulted in urgent call to visit GP 'it's ovarian cancer, very bad, so sorry ...'.

Apixaban and stomach
Can any apixaban takers tell me if you find you need to take apixaban with some food, or if it's gentle enough on your stomach to have with just water? (I know the guidelines say don't need food but is that your experience?) With taking twice a day, I don't really want to have to eat early & late.

Still recovering from my 2nd bout of Meningitis
I also suffer from pernicious anaemia and
colitis
/BAM .....all auto immune illnesses. My gp has recommended I try to stay healthy ...easier said than done. Both bouts of meningitis followed infections that were being treated with antibiotics but wouldn't clear.

Doctor's Appointment Tomorrow
Last time I went they thought I may have some form of
colitis
/anemia based on my stomach symptoms and low vitamin D/B12 results, but nothing was followed up. I even called my local Spire hospital to look into getting private tests done, but they said I still need a referall letter from my GP.

My husband has Hashimoto's...
He has previously had
colitis
, so he thinks its a flare up of that. He is gluten, grain and sugar free (Real Meal Revolution is the diet he follows) and things have been better since he adopted this (believe it or not from the list of symptoms!!).

Has anyone experienced fistulas? Please help
There is no evidence of Crohns or
colitis
in my large intestine, hence the capsule camera. My bloods have shown a B12 deficiency, which goes toward explaining the horrendous feeling I have. I have another appointment next month, at which they will have results of the capsule and a faeces sample.
