HELP!!! MRI reveals I have no Pituitary

Hello everyone,

I am in shock. I went for anMRI last week. The results show that I have no pituitary gland. What does this mean to my health?

I suffer from CML, Syndrome X, Hashimotos, EDS Grade 3, Hypertension, Eczema, Asthma, Colitis and keratitis.

Please advise if there is a way to support the Endocrine system and my health

Thank you,

Zen

yourhormones.info/endocrine...

This may help but depends what your Dr has diagnosed.

Looks like the response to your previous post here was appropriate:

healthunlocked.com/thyroidu....

Still must be quite a shock.

You might find the site below of value:

pituitary.org.uk/

Specifically:

pituitary.org.uk/informatio...

Have you results of any pituitary hormone tests? There is a list here:

pituitary.org.uk/informatio...

Of course, while I am pointing you at one site, you are very welcome here as well.

Do you have any thyroid test results?

My deepest gratitude to all who replied so promptly. I will get a copy of my Thyroid results and post it here for your perusal. Your site and all the information posted has been a great consolation for me. Zen

if it has shown that you don't a pituitary gland you will need all your pituitary hormones replaced, there are quiet a few of them! have they done a full pituitary panel of your hormones? If there is no pituitary function then you may need cortisol replaced, also you will need T3 & T4 tested as TSH is pointless as it is a pituitary hormone. The Pituitary Foundation is a great source of information, they also have telephone volunteers & nurse led help line & well as email support.
