How to get some nutrition if you have IBS, Celiac, Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis, Radiation Enteritis, or any other digestion disorder.

If you have IBS or any of its "cousin" gut diseases such as Ulcerative Colitis, you might not absorb nutrients well. Diarrhea in particular will flush out all nutrients, either natural or in supplement for. You gut microflora might also be weak from constant diarrhea, which will make things worse. I have found 2 companies, and sadly only 2 companies, that offer sublingual supplements that do not need to be swallowed and absorb in the mouth. The first one I found is gandgvitamins.com from the U.K. The second one I found is frunutta.com , from the U.S. I believe. I know this sounds like spam but I don't work for either of them. Here is their informative video:

Thank you very much for this information. I had no idea sublingual vitamins were available. (I assume these are different to homeopathy).

I decided to get a bottle of these to try first:

water-for-health.co.uk/frun...

They seem to have a little of everything in. Pity more supplements weren't available in this form.

I used to take antioxidants Acai, Goji & Maqui, Q10, Vit D3 & C, Flaxseed oil, and whatever else I felt I needed at any given time ...wintervits, circulation tablets (I sit still working for long hours), Amino acids, reishi, energy supplements, etc.

After a very unexpected and severe attack of Ulcerative Colitis 3 years ago, I soon found that if I tried to take supplements again, I got some very definite reaction from my tum!

I noticed my skin get fragile, crepey, dry and 'loose' due to the high dose antibiotics and steroids, my skin looks tired/unhappy in general, my hair was/is not as good as it was, and having now got three autoimmune conditions (also got psoriasis and arthritis for the first time in 40 years) plus asthma too, I now have a much weakened immune system.

I wondered quite early on if the colitis had caused my body not to absorb nutrients as well as it should, and asked the GE consultant if that was so. He said no, that wouldn't happen!

I stopped trying to take supplements due to the painful effects, and it was only in recent months that I read a paper written by a GE describing the non absorption of nutrients in U. Colitis patients! I was actually delighted to read it as it showed clearly that I'd been right.

Now I've seen your post on the subject, it's even more encouraging as I see again that I was right, and there may be something that will help.

I'll try this bottle of sublingual multivits and see what happens! :)
