Hi, Has anyone ever been to CBT? If so are you able to let me know if it helped you or not? I'm really thinking about having sessions as I've heard that it is meant to be good for anxiety Thanks

6 year old with Anxiety over going to school
My 6 year old daughter has been experiencing anxiety over going to school as of last month December. She used to catch the bus with her older sister(11 years old) in early December she would start to cry when the bell would ring and it was time to go into his classroom. That went on for about a week

Living with and Minimizing ADT Side Effects
And what, if anything, have people found effective to minimize side effects (especially hot flashes,
cognitive
impairment
, energy levels, depression)? I know many people have posted about their experiences in various posts, but it would be helpful to have them in one place.

How common are your cognitive symptoms?
My
cognitive
test showed normal apart from a slight concentration
impairment
and abnormal attention. I'd hope anyone with
cognitive
symptoms will have done the Elevator Test and know it has five stages increasing with difficulty and it appears to be the simplest test.

2 grade 3 Comas with Sepsis, pneumonia, Mrsa and kidney failure and now PTSD.
I was in 2 grade 3 (there is no grade 1 or 2, grade 3 usually ends in a vegetive state or death) Comas with Sepsis, pneumonia, Mrsa and kidney failure. I was given a 1-2% survival rate, my family were told I was going to die. It’s now 4 months since I came home and I’m slowly recovering. I’ve been left

Long overdue update
It’s been far to long since I posted anything or read anything that has been posted, just been overwhelmed with the hustle and bustle of Xmas, but I got through it without any major meltdowns, the sertraline and mirtazapine seem to be really helping with my situation, I’ve been seeing a Mh nurse and

Feeling better at long last :)
And about time too ... I’ve recently been focused on trying to tackle the severity of my ankle. I don’t like the idea of being medicated so I’ve found an alternative ... yoga 🧘♀️ Each night I complete just a 40 minute yoga session. I’ve also recently joined a slimming group and lost 2 stone. My

I am a bit lost
I have been doing counseling and taking increasing doses and different types of drugs for depression and anxiety. Recently I have been increasing doses of ADD medication, which does seem to help me focus some instead of being so scatter-brained. But I still have the nervous tremors, bouncing legs, and

Grieving daughter
I hate the term "lost my mom", but I lost my mom July 7, 2017. I had moved in to her home over a year ago to help her battle breast/lung cancer. I was her care giver while I worked a full time job and juggled being a mom. In July, I went to S.C. to watch my daughter graduate basic training, during her

I've already been diagnosed with a mild
cognitive
impairment
, but I still work everyday. The usual websites seem to indicate that
cognitive
impairment
(memory loss, confusion) only happens in the very last stage. Has anyone else experienced this early on? I'm only 52. Thanks.

Nobody gets it until they “Get it”
Can you tell from my subject line that I am in a bit of a rut? Last month I was doing well at 5MG after recovering from a flare after dropping to 4 MG. Once again, after almost a month at 5MG, I dropped to 4MG of RAYOS at 10pm and ½ MG of Prednisone in am. FLARE! It took a week to recover and had

Statins/Anti-coagulants/Dementia
I have read a number of academic papers outlining the increased risk of
cognitive
impairment
in patients who take statins/omeprazole and anti-coagulants. GPs tend not to commit to commenting on the subject. But I was told that by the time dementia was diagnosed it would be too late to care!!
