My pain exhausts me
I have idiopathic peripheral neuropathy in my feet. I hate that word - idiopathic. I feel like doctors are saying I'm an idiot because I have pain even though I know it just means they don't know what caused it. But the pain is real. Some mornings I wake up and just cry because it's the first thing I

The depression always returns
I am in my sixties and I have suffered from depression since my early thirties. It stays dormant for a few months and then it appears for a few months. I am so tired of this terrible roller coaster ride. I have tried cognitive behavior therapy, a plethora of different antidepressants, retreats, online

Has anyone tried Cognitive behavioral therapy to combat tiredness ?
Firstly I would like to say how comforting it is to have this site to ask questions and see others experiences. I live in The Netherlands and have had an under active thyroid for 27 years. If I sit down to read a book, I fall asleep and my husband laughs at how many TV programs I sleep thru. I have over

Cognitive behavioural therapy
I had some lovely advice a week ago about antidepressants and fibro wondering if any of you have tried CBT . I have managed to get myself on a course in September they say it can help with chronic pain as well as the abuse I received with my ex husband .

Giving up
"UGH" Only word I can ever use. Does anyone else feel like giving up? It's not the answer, I know. A few years back I was in "Cognitive behavioral therapy" after having a panic attack (aka: day that ruined my life). Over time, things got better...until they weren't. Over the last year, my panic and anxiety

I never experienced any mental fog or
cognitive
impairment
but I am a medical professional and should have seen it. Hindsight is always 20/20 as they say. My story is actually more detailed than this post. I am such an advocate of B12 testing now.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Looking into an online therapy course that's based on CBT - they say the course requires worksheets and a little bit of time throughout the week to go through exercises. If you've tried CBT, do you think it's worth it? What are the pros and cons? Is it worth it for anxiety and depression?

Following up on my constant pain after tkr.
I've just received a letter from my consultant from wrightington hospital regarding my ongoing severe pain after tkr 18 months ago. It seems it's highly unlikely that it's down to the allergic reaction to the nickel in the cobalt. Even though I AM allergic to nickel. It's more likely as it's complex

Beat me up with a very big stick? No thanks, I'll do it myself.
I've just had a read online about carer's guilt. Is it just the pages I have found? Or are they all so smooth and lacking any gut reality tone with regard to the hard work, the 'fails', remorse and exhaustion? Then for many of us there is occasional resentment about what has happened to our own lives

Hi.
Hi. I am new to this group. I am depressed. I know I need to be on medication but I was sick of feeling sick and stopped taking it about 7 1/2 months ago. I am having trouble sleeping, no drive, very negative thoughts, feeling guilty about stuff that happened 20 years ago, mood swings, irritability
