Reducing or eliminating IBS symptoms
I thought I should share this, if your IBS symptoms is frequent stooling (not diarrhoea) you can try peppermint oil capsules say 30 mins to 1 hour before a meal (once a day) combined with deliberate reduction in stress and relaxation from worry; I believe it will work, at least 90% reduction. The best

Epilepsy and beauty treatment contraindications
hi I was just wondering if people knew why epilepsy is a contraindication for some beauty treatments? I can understand the reasoning in some of these, eg laser hair removal due to flashing lights, but what about others? I have been looking into Fat Freezing/Cryolipolysis and have read that epilepsy

Hemiplegic Migraine and general Anaesthetic
Has anyone here with Hemiplegic Migraine had a bad reaction to a general anaesthetic? Or worsened symptoms after an operstion ? I have severe paralysis and am facing a long operation.

Latest thyroid result
Hi, I just did my annual thyroid test. It's not disastrous, but my Ft3 has dropped to the lowest it's been in many, many years. I did wonder if I was slightly undermedicated as I randomly had a migraine a few weeks ago and lots of low level headaches (not had migraines since I was last hypo - 13 years

Early signs of PA
I've been giving some thought to how long I've had PA. I was diagnosed about 2 years ago. BUT, when i look back at old photos of myself, my skin colour changed to be quite yellowy (my mum says my dad and his mum both had the yellowy skin tone). This yellowy colour has faded out and I'm much more "white

vestibular migraine nightmare
Hi everyone. I just at my wits end and wondered if anyone can help?’! Diagnosed with vestibular migraine 10 years ago by default as they did every test imaginable both ENT and Neurological and decided it had to be that and gave me propranolol and the following day it was a miracle. Hadn’t left house

Long term VM symptoms
Hi when I was 17 I got VM and they had problems with the lumbar puncture they used 4 different lengths of needles and were not able to get in. I was put in some type of x-ray thing so they could see inside. It worked right away. The pain I had was in my head my neck and my spine. I felt like I was dying

The Temperature “Flip Flop.”
Hello Community Fam, I have a question for anyone experiencing the winter chill. PA is inconsistent with temperatures right now. We melted away the snow from last week; Saturday 55 degrees, this upcoming weekend chilly with temps in the morning around 27 degrees!

intractable migraine
hi all, Intractable migraine for two and a half years following a blow to the back of my neck and a year later, a car crash… tried Botox, Ajovy, now on Vydura and still no relief…nerve blocks. Question: pain is too much to sleep at night and I’m really struggling mentally and physically… any thoughts

Nasal Polyps
I had surgery to remove nasal polyps about 7 years ago and afterwards was told to use a nasal spray Fluticasone to help me from having anymore. So far so good but lately my pharmacy has had a problem of obtaining Fluticasone therefore my GP has suggested Beclomethasone instead. I have used this spray

Devil's Claw alternative medication
Hi all, I've been on Pregabalin and Duloxetine for a while. This has some impact but still suffer daily pain. I use Turmeric massage oil which does offer some relief for a while. We have a local health care shop who has prescribed Devil's Claw which I have been taking for two weeks. I do believe it

Tremor at the dentist
I have an embarrassing problem. My anxiety arcs up at the dentist and I cant stop the tremor in my left arm. Is there anything I could take before I go to ward off the tremor?

Tough Christmas.
I've got through thankfully but it's been tough. Tried an antipsychotic a few weeks ago something beginning with A but had to come off it with huge side effects. Now they are trying to bring my general anxiety levels down with buspirone which I've tolerated a lot better than the antipsychotic but I'm
