Migraine at work?
Hello! I work at a fast-food place, and I do customer service/drive thu. One of the rules is that I cannot have water in sight of the customers, and it needs to be in the back of the store to drink it. Only issue is that sometimes it gets so busy that I can't take a minute to make the ice cream. If

Anesthesia and PD
I’m planning on having Morton’s neuroma surgery in a few weeks, unless I chicken out! I’m concerned about any negative effects because of anesthesia . I’m going to check to see if doing some type of block instead of General, is a possibility. Has anyone had that operation, or have experience with different

Good Morning Everyone 🤪
Well another rainy dreary day but supposed to warm up this week. Had a migraine yesterday and had to take a Nurtec which always helps 👍🏼 It’s a great medication but I can’t afford it anymore. My cost for 15 pills a month is $467.00 dollars 💸. This is all they allow per month and that’s with Medicare

Journey to recovery
Hi everyone, I’m in my second month of recovery from IBS. Try Peppermint oil capsules (not the sweets) 30 minutes to 1 hour before your meal; 15 minutes it’s quite ok. The Holland & Barrets is highly recommended . I also take 2 glasses of water every morning before breakfast. Your mental health also

Migraines
Hi, I was diagnosed at 41 back in 2019 with ET Jak 2 and my levels have always been fairly normal at 580. Before I was diagnosed I started with migraines, never had them before and they have persisted ever since which are quite debilitating. When seeing the specialist he advised he didn't think that

At last my headache is gone I had it for a couple of weeks. I tried everything for it but it wouldn’t work. My mouth throat and nose was so dry. I don’t get full blown migraines any more thank goodness but I get the odd flare up of these miserable headaches but not usually with the dryness. A Dr once

Is this a flare?
Good morning, I’m 68 and diagnosed with PMR last October, 2023. I started at 20mg. No problem with tapering until February 29, 2 weeks after I started 7.5 mg. My neck (turning both ways and especially looking down) started getting sore and stiff on both sides. Tried acetaminophen and physical therapy

Did you know that having AF can increase your risk of an AF-related stroke?
AF can cause blood to pool inside the heart. A clot can form and then travel up to the brain, causing an AF-related stroke. Learn more about the connection between your heart and your brain and how to protect yourself. Learn more about how you can protect yourself by viewing our resource: https:/

Vomiting migraine and pred
My migraines which involve vomiting seem to be returning. If I only take enteric coated pred with no food, how long have I got for it to have gone through my stomach before the vomiting brings it up? I was originally given an anti emetic tablet which now has no effect.

New type. Of migraine
I've had migraine since I was 30, I'm 64 now, but recently I'm experiencing a different kind of pain, it starts in the right hand side of my neck at the back of my head, then radiates up my cheek, eye and then my temple, it feels like a nerve pain. Had anyone else had this? Thanks

Some advice before a battle with GP!
For added context, I suffer from
chronic
migraine
that has all but destroyed my life and am desperately looking for a 'cause' that I can treat to help with this. Also osteoporosis, chronic vitamin D deficiency, depression, fatigue, etc.

Reducing or eliminating IBS symptoms
I thought I should share this, if your IBS symptoms is frequent stooling (not diarrhoea) you can try peppermint oil capsules say 30 mins to 1 hour before a meal (once a day) combined with deliberate reduction in stress and relaxation from worry; I believe it will work, at least 90% reduction. The best
