Hey Everyone With the help of a 20 mg 7 day Buprenorphine patch, I have been free of any dopamine agonist for almost 3 months. But as we all know, the patch does not last 7 days, 5 if you are lucky. Consequently, I change it every 5 days and have had pretty good results. Initially, I would have moderate

https://www.england.nhs.uk/who-is-at-increased-risk-from-covid-19/ This lists people with LD as at increased risk from Covid. So why are poeple with LD excluded from having Covid vaccines this autumn? Most especially when their death rate from Covid is 3 times that of the general population?

Floppy heart valve - can anyone help?
Before Christmas my mother went to the doctors for a
chest
infection
. The
chest
infection
cleared up but the doctor told her it sounded like there was a valve in her heart flapping and sent her for a scan. She said if that was the case then she’d need an operation.

Dear Everyone, About 3 months ago, I started withdrawing from Neupro with the help of Buprenorphine. Buprenorphine is only available as a patch in Brasil where I live. I am now free of any dopamine agonist for over 2 months and continue to use Buprenorphine to effectively control my RLS. The quality

SULFASALAZINE & FOOD POISONING - Is Anyone Else Affected?
In the first 20 months of taking Sulfasalazine I had food poisoning 8 times from food where no other partakers had any problems - 4 times with vomiting and diarrhoea (I had 2 such cases in the previous 60 years). My GP put it down to the immunosuppressant effects of Sulfasalazine making me more susceptible

Taking hydroxychloroquine but I’ve just found out that I cannot get the Autumn Covid booster with my GP
I booked my flu jab this morning and was told I was no longer eligible for an autumn Covid booster, which I thought odd as I was always invited early for other Covid jabs as well as being offered anti viral meds, if needed. Does this sound right to you? I am only taking hydroxychloquine and am just

Finished Venetoclax, then Covid
My doctor prescribed Venetoclax after two rounds of chemo/immuno infusions to fight CLL. I felt great! Swimming half a mile, felt strong. Then bronchitis, pneumonia, and Covid. Was hospitalized and released in 6 days. But my home convalescence is not what I expected. Weakness, coughing, general severe

dipyridamole
I’m going to try this next week when I get an Rx. Looking for any pointers from anyone who has had success with it. I gather that 225mg is a common dose for RLS (three 75mg pills). I intend to start with one pill and titrate up to three quickly if there are no issues. I’m currently using buprenorphine

His death certificate only mentioned a
chest
infection
- which I understand is the often the thing that ends the life of MSA patients. It's no wonder nobody has heard of MSA if its presence isn't documented as in my husband's case.

Shingrix vaccine and graves
hi, I was diagnosed with graves a year ago and after 11 months of carbimazole I have been taken off with a view I might be in remission. Is it risky to have vaccines like Shingrix, is it likely to cause a flare up? Same applies to covid and flu vaccines. I cannot get a straight answer anywhere and specialist

I am currently "recovering" from a
chest
infection
, I am on the fifth week and still coughing even after antibiotics. I have had bouts of extreme fatigue that has caused me to take a lot of time off work. My question is could I have SLE.

Another cold type virus
Posted in January about respiratory virus which I recovered from about 2 weeks ago. Blow me down, I have a sore throat, runny nose, feel flat and no energy again. This is the 3rd cold/flu type bug I have had in 3 months. Is this due to suppressed immune system or overdoing it or just bad luck? @
