Asthma flare up any advice?
Seemed to possibly develop again in 2018 following a
chest
infection
and diagnosed in 2020 triggered by mould in a property I was living in! I currently take clenil 100 mcg twice a day. I also have salbutamol but have never needed it really until recently.

has anybody here ended up with long covid and ended up with breathing difficulties afterwards and suffered reflux? and if so what were your symptoms and issues? I know I’ve done another post in regards to my breathing problems on here but looking for more insight and information to approach my nurse

Hi All, Since 2013... my life has been somewhat a constant fear of one disease or the other. Thank to Doc google. I havent had a night in peace for the last atleast 10 years. It started in 2013 with lightheadedness which made me go to an ent. He said symptoms are of bppv and prescribed some medicines

I don’t have research but a personal story. My daughter who is 23 contracted Covid last summer and I noticed she was really having a tough time. Went to the doctor was on the way to recovery and then rebounded I noticed she lost close to 30 pounds in three weeks. She started feeling better again but

New to biologics - don't feel particularly well.
I then managed another
chest
infection
at home in November (although in hindsight I should probably have gone to hospital as peak flow dropped drastically to 55% of normal but it was the weekend and figured they wouldn't do anything other than what I was doing at home with nebs, etc 🤔).

Feel like giving up.
For unknown reasons other than we think Rituxumab is not working for you any more my medication was changed to Kevzera (Sarilulmab) in November. The work up checks were done and good to go apart from a Chest X Ray as I hadn't had one for a while. A shadow area was found on my lung with suspected

Covid and injections
I suffered from Covid over Christmas from the 16th to the 30th December. Up 'til now I have had all the injections on offer. I read Dorset Lady's post that we are going to be offered another injection in the spring. It has left me wondering whether I will need this or not in the circumstances. I

mid-year covid vaccine
the CDC has recommended we immuno-suppressed get a second covid vaccine this year. i am getting mine tomorrow, six months after the 2023-24 first dose. What has your experience been with a second shot in a year? I have normally only gotten one but with this advisory, I decided to do. Your thoughts

New medication for boosting immunity against covid19
Hello everyone from snowy NY. My spouse received his first kidney transplant 11/2018 and I just told him about this news. Apparently, there is a new IV infusion for people who are very immunocompromised to help improve their health from getting covid19, since the vaccinations were not working as hoped

hello, I was running around 10 miles in my mid fifties following post surgical PE at 50. Covid in 2022 set off severe flare of Ulcerative Colitis (had since 25) and PE. Spent a year recovering started couch to 5k in January having built up fitness walking and cycling. Doing well then got knocked back

I had a trip to London on Tuesday to work on a show and that was pretty tiring. I'd run on Monday, hoping for 30 minutes, but surrendering at 23. So the 30 minute run was Wednesday ... but no, just too tired. Thursday? Nah. So today, for sure. I got up early and put my running gear on, did two lots of
