hyperparathroidism
I don’t know any more what symptoms are from Parkinson’s and what are created by the massive
calcium
levels swirling in my body.

Calcium and D3 supplementation decreases cancer risk and increases CVD risk
Unfortunately it is not quite clear (to me) whether it is the combination or the
calcium
by itself that has these consequences and what role the D3 plays in either increasing or moderating, if any.

Adding calcium in order to strengthen bones
The doctors want me to take 2x 400 mg
calcium
and Vitamin D. They also want me to take double dose statins, although my LDL is 2.9 (EU number) and
calcium
readings are normal.

PROLIA
I had my
calcium
checked before the prolia shot. It was 9.0. I just went for a CBC and my
Calcium
dropped 8.5. Along with my Kidneys, Liver, and Protein. Hence I take
Calcium
and protein daily for 22yrs and never had them drop. Thinking Prolia did it!!

My calcium level appears low within bone profile blood tests. Are these an accurate representation I wonder?
My concern is that when my
calcium
is tested via bloods, it comes back as being borderline low even though I’m taking 900mg
calcium
citrate per day and ingest another 800mg via dairy products every day. So at 1700mg per day I would expect blood test results to be in the very good range.

Calcium - forms, doses, timings
The tablets are
calcium
carbonate. I looked up
calcium
citrate and it says there is only 21% absorption compared to 40% absorption of
calcium
carbonate if latter is taken with a meal which I do. So I don't know if that will make a difference?

Labs drawn,

I realized that because my PTH was high and my
calcium
was high, that this was a major problem and the cause was my parathyroid function. My doctor did not diagnose this. Finally I did have "one" parathyroid surgery and feel much better and my bone density is stable (my choice) .

Does anybody get severe cramps; legs, pectoral and feet?
I have experimented with Magnesium Oxide, Glycinate/Hylands Leg Cramps/Curcumin/Tonic water/
Calcium
and Potasium. The only thing that helps is drinking magnesium citrate power in water during a muscle cramp attack. I really wish I could find something to avoid them in the first place. Any ideas?
