Alendronic Acid
About 7 months ago I was given vitamin d and
calcium
tablets which I am fine with. I was also given Alendronic acid which makes me feel very lethargic for a couple of days after taking. Has anyone else experienced this. I’m virtually at the point of deciding not to take this anymore.

Last question does anyone get any side effects and do I have to be careful with my iron magnesium or
calcium

high blood calcium
Hi Guys, Is anyone on Mimpara for high
calcium
in blood. I’m transplanted and had a parathyroidectomy but still high
calcium
. The mimpara makes me very nauseous but it’s the only thing they’ve offered me. Has anyone had extremely itchy skin with high
calcium
. Any input welcome Tina

Medication vs Ablation for treating PAF
For now, ES put me on Verapamil 120 mg 1X/day - a
calcium
channel blocker. However, I’ve had 4 more episodes since I started taking the meds in June, lasting anywhere from 12 hours to 2 days so it doesn’t seem to be working for me.

Alendronic Acid. Making my own choices.
Without taking the AA I’ll just up my
calcium
intake and do more bone building exercises. If something can stay in your system for 10 years, it’s an eye opener to really think about the implications it could have on long-term health.

Tomorrow I get my Cardiac CT Results
Despite a similar coronary plaque burden, bypassed native coronary arteries had 3-times higher CMA values and greater progression of one-year
calcium
scores compared to those who that had not undergone CABG.

absorbing calcium and nutrients
it's hard work trying to absorb
calcium
and nutrients because there is that many foods that block each other from being absorbed like phytates and oxalates and other things when eaten together, there is even phytates in alpro milk that I take for
calcium
, I think I need a
calcium
supplement.

Fosteum Plus
It has 500mg of
calcium
with vitamin K and other important ingredients. Anyone taking it? You don’t hear much mentioned about it even though it’s been around several years.

I am on
calcium
channel blockers, does this block
calcium
getting to the heart only or the entire body? Is there any point in taking
calcium
supplements? Just wondering..

High Calcium score
Hello, I was diagnosed with unstable angina last April, and had CT Angiogram and
Calcium
score scan. Results came back that I had severe blockages in 3 arteries and a
Calcium
score of 525 which put me in the highest percentile for a 69 year old woman. I had my angiogram and angioplasty in Sepember.

Also had to deal with a gallbladder removal too...but now resolved 🤞 I'm having private bloods to check for raised

Hello!
- I’ve been prescribed 3 x 3mgs of Budenofalk which I’ve been consuming for around 6 weeks along with the
Calcium
/Vitamin D tablets. I guess this has all come as a little of a shock given I feel incredibly healthy overall.

Anyone have an opinion on this issue as I prepare to see a MO?
Just asking since I was looking over my medical records for the last 10 years and the
calcium
number has always been in the mid-range, but the glucose has always been very high. (I am a type 2 diabetic).

things blocking calcium
I was talking to a nurse at the royal osteoporosis society and I asked about phytates and oxalates blocking
calcium
absorption, and she said that they don't block all the
calcium
, anyone say different.
