Hike in T-Score due to steroid use. Worrying.
My question here is should I be taking K2 to direct the
calcium
to the bones and not the arteries? I intend to go back to the original higher dose of
calcium
.

calcium through foods
how do you know if you are getting enough
calcium
through foods, I have just ordered 500mg of
calcium
citrate, I'm not messing around measuring this and measuring that, and the 20mg of famatodine that I take won't help, the
calcium
citrate I bought is 3 capsules =500mg, I think I will just take 2 a day

An update…..and pins & needles
A warning about phosphorus and
calcium
though: I need
calcium
because of severe pins and needles but to take too much can be risky to the heart, kidneys etc. It’s a tricky area of medicine and like PA needs knowledge healthcare opinions.

Vitamin D & Calcium Supplements - current advice from Canadian Doctors.
It seems Hypercalcemia is not so much the issue, but I understand that
calcium
can increase lymphocyte production, especially with low serum
calcium
. If anyone has any up to date studies on this I'd be interested to hear.

Just a quicky
Endocrinologist wants me to take Vit D and
calcium
separately, rather than combined in one tablet, with a higher Vit D dosage. Seems quite difficult to find
calcium
without Vit D added but have found some on Lindens. They have good reviews and British manufacturers. Any experience anyone?

blood tests while on zoledronic acid infusion.
I recently asked for regular blood tests while on zoledronic acid infusions, a gp sent me a text to say that I only need blood tests a week before the next infusion, I wanted to see if my
calcium
levels were ok in-between infusions, but no.

After 4 years of ankle pain which has now started in my wrists I have just been diagnosed with
calcium
in tendons and just read it can be associated with thyroid disease. Anyone else have this problem?

diltiazem and Parkinsonism
Has anyone heard of
calcium
channel blockers like diltiazem causing Parkinson’s symptoms? I was just told by a very reputable foot doctor that it is common, can cause rigidity etc. He said most cardiologist’s weren’t aware of this significant side effect.

Test results - please help!
What disappointed me with my last test result was that my tsh was so high (a year ago well below 1) and that my
calcium
was too low again. My thought was to take the entire dose in the evening to be able to eat more
calcium
for breakfast but realize that I probably need to increase the T3 dose?

Hi,does anyone know of links between calcium oxolate crystals in urine needing b12 2 break them down please & links with blood in urine pls?
Looking back can see
calcium
oxolate crystals were mentioned in early years of symptoms, vit never mentioned to me.. After a bit of googling read that
calcium
is required to break this down & also found some info which I can't seem to refind! about needing adequate b12 too.

High blood pressure
As well as Tzc, I am taking 5mg pred, 10mg amitryptiline, naproxen, lanzoprazole, risendronate sodium,
calcium
and vit D. Could any of these be the culprit for high blood pressure rather than Tocilizumab injections?

heart rate / calcium channel blockers
My GP has since put me on a
calcium
channel blocker for the heart rate.. Does this sound like the correct approach? For context I am 24-years old and was seemingly healthy before the first fainting episode (apparently not).

Drugs and high Calcium
My Oncologist wants me to take Prolia, but the Insurance will not pay for it and wants me to take Zometa. However, I did research on Zometa and its reputation is questionable. What are the alternatives? Xgeva seems better. Any thoughts about this.
