After 4 years of ankle pain which has now started in my wrists I have just been diagnosed with calcium in tendons and just read it can be associated with thyroid disease. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes I had very very low vitamin D which I had never heard of this was years before I had thyroid problems. I had my gallbladder removed back in 2006 and it was chock full of calcium stones, beige in colour and like small rugby balls. The others in the ward had Cholesterol stones. I had never been overweight or had high cholesterol. Just low Vit d.

I still have a small amount of calcium in my groin, this hurts when I go on longer walks.

I now keep my vitamin D level up taking it with K2 which helps calcium go into the bones and teeth and not into the soft tissue.
