SCT
So I’m white English and my partner is mixed race Jamaican / German. He has trait with crisis. They say if one parent has it then the chance is slim to nothing for a child to have it. His mum had nothing while his dad has trait. Tomorrow I am having a C-section as our baby is breech. I fear our child

14 weeks +1 Pregnant, self-injecting clexane and taking aspirin.
Hi, I’ve been taking aspirin and self-injecting 80mg of Clexane daily due to high maternal BMI. I had to previously inject clexane for 2 weeks after a c-section and had some slight bruising but nothing like I’m having at the moment. This is after only a week. I’m attaching a picture of what the bruises

Advice: Cyberknife treatment of prostate AFTER TURP and Axumin scan
Just got back from yet another Urologist, seems no wants to place markers in my prostate after I had a TURP for RT treatment. The reasoning they say is the risk of prostate radiation side effects ( incontinence urine and bowel, needing to cath myself, etc...) that will last my lifetime is too great,

Warning - Sensitive Post
Hi everyone I hope it's OK to post this - our beautiful little boys Avery James & Sebastian George were born yesterday at 9.12 & 9.14 am by planned c section. They are possibly the most beautiful babies I have ever seen (but then I am biased!). Absolutely surreal day yesterday, can't believe it finally

WARNING ⚠️ SENSITIVE POST
Hi all you lovely ladies. I hope you are taking care of yourselves on this tough journey. I’ve thought long and hard about whether to post this and really hope that I don’t upset or offend anyone. I know when I was in a dark place with this journey there were times when certain posts would feel like

It was 0.98; my lowest ever was 0.3 and highest 1.03. My urologist saw this as a positive sign and I laughed out loud. My reading of published

Hi Everyone. I am the best friend of someone diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer
My best friend has been diagnosed with Advanced prostate cancer almost 2 months ago. Gleason is 8 (4+4) with bone mets in femur, pelvis, ribs, and humerus. He has 2 lymph nodes on his kidney and possibly near the throat. He started Firmagon and another injection to prevent bone loss 3 weeks ago.

Hi everyone... I had major uterine fibroids during my pregnancies and vulvar varicosities. Fun pregnancies, right? A year after my last pregnancy I had an abdominal myomectomy, nearly 8 pounds of healthy/plump fibroids removed from inside and outside of my uterus. It to longer to heal from that then

Bowel symptoms
So, straight to it.. I need to put my feet up on a stool to have a poo! My question is..How many others have to do this? and if diagnosed did it relate to where your endometriosis was found? A brief note... I’ve had many symptoms over many years (about 18 years), I’m undiagnosed and this more recent

Fluid around C-section scar
Hi At my monitoring scan yesterday the nurse said there was some fluid round my C-section scar and that this was quite common. She took a picture and said she’d show it to the doctor. I didn’t think much of it at the time and can’t even really remember if the nurse mentioned it again when she came back
