Born at 33 weeks via emergency c section

Hi all,

Last Saturday my preeclampsia took hold and our gorgeous boy had to be born 7 weeks early! He weighed 5lb 1oz and is doing well in NICU feeding well and needing hardly any oxygen support he’s such a little fighter already.

Thank you xx I’m really struggling with the pain from the c section as I was on blood thinners too and the bruising is so bad I’m black and dark blue from scar down. Seems to be taking forever for me to be able to walk and sit comfortably and be there for my little boy every day. I no it will get easier. He’s doing so so well already 💙

Hi. So sorry to hear that you are feeling so sore with the bruising following your C-section. A lot of that will be from the blood thinners and trauma from the operation. See if you can ask for a physio to help you and make sure you don’t get constipated. It’s still early days post op, but you will start to feel better soon. Sending you gentle hugs. Diane xx
