Knowledgeable urologist in Southern Oregon?
I am looking for a urological second opinion regarding urinary retention after TURP. I am also dealing with Gleason 9 PCa with Zytiga/prednisone/Lupron. I am in the Medford area and could use a good reference to a local urologist who has some experience in this area.

Secondary endo caused by c-section
I am new to this forum but am struggling to find anyone else in my position. I have rare 'secondary endo' which was caused by my c-section (where the surgeon accidentally moved cells from my womb). I now have a huge lump near my c-section scar. The surgeon wants to remove the lump. I think he is an endo

Best laser for prostate surgery while on Eliquis?
Has anybody had any experience with a laser Turp while on Eliquis? I had a prostate resection 10 years ago, ( no PAF then) and it was a quite bloody affair, with 4 days of catheterized bladder washing. I filled tens of colored water bags with the draining of my blood loss. Now I have to do a Turp

Advice post pe
I had a pe after my c-section on 2017 and have been on Apixaban since then. I was lucky as it was small and since then I have had all the blood tests and have not been diagnosed with any clotting disorders. I really don't want to come off Apixaban as I feel safer and I have now got used to taking it

Feeling lost after laparoscopy
So I had my long awaited laparoscopy and removal of mystery lump in my abdominal wall (c-section scar) yesterday. The lump was successfully removed, I won’t know if it was endo until I get biopsy results. Surgeon thinks it is. Otherwise, I was told that my pelvis looks healthy (which is of course a

Urinary retention months after TURP
Had a TURP in November 2018 and they did a biopsy and found my Gleason 9 PC. Am starting to treat cancer with Zytiga/prednisone/lupron and hope for good news down the road on that issue. However, even after the TURP, I am retaining too much urine even though I can pee. So, my urologist has me self catheterizing

First gynae app, do I go straight for a laparoscopy or try the mirena coil first?!
I’ve had my first gynaecologist appointment and she’s advised most of my symptoms point towards possible having both adhesions from a previous c-section and endometriosis. She’s given me the option of going for a diagnostic laparoscopy now or waiting 6 months and trying the mirena coil to see if that

Laparoscopy
Hi everyone, I’ve got my first lap coming up and I’m so worried that the gynae surgeon doing it is going to miss something (or not find anything). At my appointments he’s been vague and a little dismissive that my symptoms ‘won’t be down to endo’ At the same time I’m also having a lump removed from

Up and Down, Back and Forth, Conflicting PCa history. Will value all opinions re future treatment. TYIA!
In a post on Feb. 3, which was incomplete regarding my husband’s 4.5 year history with diagnosed PCa, I replied to George71 (his post entitled, “SABR-COMET-10 trial that radiates up to 10 lesions”) that my husband and I are struggling as George71 is with the decision of how/when to proceed with (husband's

Elective Caesarean on the NHS
Has anyone opted for a caesarean? I'm 33 weeks pregnant and off to see my consultant later and want to request to book a date for a c-section. Baby is currently transverse so there is no way he'll be delivered vaginally if he stays in this position, but even if he moves head down I really don't want
