I don’t think there is such a thing as a baby moving too much. They do say that movement tends to slow down a little as you get to the end but it’s different for everyone. Apparently boys move more than girls and if baby is measuring small (though if you have gestational diabetes then I would assume not as babies tend to be bigger then) then they have a little bit more wiggle room than bigger babies would at the same stage. Could it be that baby is moving into position?
As long as you can feel baby moving and have no pains etc. I wouldn’t worry too much. Try giving your midwife a ring tomorrow just to put your mind to rest. Xx
Kicks Count alway say movements do not slow down towards the end of pregnancy. My baby was 10lb 1 and I didn’t have a bump to reflect that so was a shock but she moved just as much towards the end of pregnancy and in labour as she had the whole pregnancy x
I think it's worth giving your midwife a call. Advice now is to call with any change to normal movements, so if movement increases as well as slows down.
Chances are it's all fine, but I'd still call midwife for advice xx
