A friend of mine's father is contemplating that from Dr. Alex. Vanni, Lahey Clinic. He's already had 4 TURPs. Any comments on the procedure/ doctor?

RELIEF FOUND
Hi everyone, This is my own case story. I amazingly found relief to my pain, but have fewer medical problems than many of the people on this site: I am 44 years of age, have always had excruciating periods since the age of 12 years (more painful than labor contractions), and have been through 2 c-sections

Side effects
I’m writing because I’m really fed up of what I think are side effects from taking medication to prevent PPP. I’m glad I’m staying well but struggling in other ways. I’ve had a c section a couple of weeks ago, and I’m recovering well. I have a really short attention span - this impacts handling the baby

Any positive birth stories?
Hello lovelies! I'm early pregnant and only at ten weeks, but the only birth stories I can find are all pretty much horror stories. I wasn't scared at all about the idea of birth, it's what our bodies are meant to do etc. But it seems like most people have severe tearing or emergency c sections... Is

Terrified!
Hello , I’m new here... I’m not sure if I’m on the right page to post this but I am a 56 y/o woman in UK with congenital hypothyroidism, diagnosed at 6 months, and enjoyed a level of care throughout life (with the odd fall signalling a meds increase) and moving from Eltroxin to Levothyroxine at some

Stopping Zytiga after 6months
After our last checkup with our med onco last Friday, he mentioned that my husband can stop taking Zytiga if his PSA drops to below zero after 6months treatment and just continue with Eligard and Xgeva. Brief info, my husband was diagnosed with advanced pca late June 2018 (PSA 33) with mets to bones

Bicalutamide stopped in 2017.But we get diagonosed last month and PSA was about 1.3

My cancer has morphed to treatment-emergent small-cell neuroendocrine prostate cancer.
Hi Guys, I had a TURP in July and the pathology report came back that my prostate cancer cells were small-cell neuroendocrine type, while my original diagnosis was adenocarcinoma Gleason 10. The cancer has grown up the side of my bladder, which has caused a bladder bleed which needed a repair under
