Been a while....
Hey lovely people! So I ended up getting sick with COVID19. Sick as a dog for about 6 weeks. Thankfully, came out of it thanks to the love my family showed me and supported me through it. Yoga, meditation and breathing exercises helped me get through the breathing issues, and now, I’m back to school

Hi Everyone! :) I thought we could inspire each other to reach our big and small health goals- not necessarily related to Hashi! 1.I'm finally at my ideal weight so maintaining that is my goal number 1 2.My sleep has suffered horribly so improving that is strong runner up! Trying different techniques

Wim Hof method to counteract some of the effects from ADT
Wim Hof says that the
breathing
exercise
in which you pretty much hyper-ventilating for 30 breath before emptying your lungs and then holding your breath for as long as you can and then taking a deep breath and holding it for 15 seconds is alkalizing the blood, making it possible for us to achieve things

Tight Pelvic Floor Muscles leading to constant urge to urinate, unable to fully empty and spasms.
Hi I’m a 45 year old man. 7 years ago I had a structure removed from my urethra and since then I’ve had niggling pain in the pelvic floor and urethra area. I have what I call ‘flare ups’ and usually get prescribed medication for Prostatitis. I’ve tried acupuncture, pelvic floor physiotherapy, deep breathing

Is Parkinson's disease a lifestyle disease? 1. Parkinsonian lifestyle (higher risk).
(Excerpt from the book I am writing now. I hope you find it useful). Is Parkinson's disease a lifestyle disease? 1. Parkinsonian style (increased risk of developing the disease) I have less and less doubts about the existence of a "Parkinsonian" way of life, which predisposes and increases the risk

Life after COVID-19 Pneumonia
My family and I all contracted COVID in December, and as much as I tried to care for my Mum at home, come the critical “Day 10” her oxygen levels had dropped and she was hospitalised a week before Christmas. I will forever be grateful the hospital saved her life, and we got her home twelve days later

Word of encouragement
For me, it might be
breathing

and positive thoughts. Someone else might have family support and having positive thoughts whatever the case, we are to stick with our tools to stay afloat. Thank you depression survivors, you have been my inspiration.

Breathing exercises for covid
I came across this new programme with the English National Opera, designed to help with breathing difficulties as a result of covid. Thought I'd share as it may prove helpful for those affected. https://eno.org/eno-breathe/

Could Shallow Breathing be related to RL symptoms?
Hi everyone, I'm still suffering from RLS with the horrible sensations in my legs, shoulders and recently my hand. Have those of you with these symptoms noticed a relationship between your breathing when you go to bed at night - such that shallow breathing or congestion (lack of enough oxygen through

Quick update
on arrival and I was very ill with both lungs very severe infection ,it’s a very scary place with others around me not making it (all men unfortunately) it’s a waiting game to see if you improve and I seem to be 👏, things that helped was trying to stay positive, having a oximeter and had practice

I can’t handle much more......
Everything was going great; my depression was being controlled and my anxiety was being taken care of. It is a constant day-to-day struggle but I did it and will continue to do it. But right now I feel as though I am going completely insane. About a week ago I started having these strange symptoms

Are you like me? Are you seeking peace in your heart?
I heard music star Lee Ann Rimes speak online last week and she shared her story of coping with intense anxiety and depression. She said was trying breathing exercises one day and realized she was chanting. Over time she began recording her chants and decided to share them. I have found this one song
