Fulvestrant side effects
Just wondering whether anyone on fulvestrant alone has experienced any of the potential side effects listed for this drug? Not the injection itself but afterwards. I had my 4th set of shots 3 weeks ago. The only side effect I experienced after the first 3 injections was fatigue but this time, 2 days

Understanding BMB
Hi, Reading other members' interpretations of their BMB reports has led me to look at mine more closely, and would value your input. I had my second one over a year ago and was told like my first one everything was fine - no fibrosis. I have PV and take Rux. I didn't question it. However, In the Trephine

Hi all, Mum completed first line treatment for HGSOC last year (6 cycles carbo/taxol followed by optimal debulking) and was NED as of last July. She is BRIP1 positive but HRD negative and has been on Niraprib at reduced dose since last September. Since then her CA125 has progressively increased from

COPD and Radiation for Breast Cancer
I am trying to find information on the potential effects on my existing COPD if I have radiation therapy for breast cancer. I am being treated at a top cancer center in the US and they definitely promote lumpectomy plus radiation over mastectomy. I am almost 70 years old and a widow, and I really don't

First FET
Yeaterday we had our tested embygirl transferred. She is 6AA final grade and according to doctor everything was looking great. I hope she sticks. Wanted to hear your experiences days after transfer, did you do bed rest / couch potato / back to work? My clinic says take it easy first 3 days but no bed

itching
hello everyone! Does anyone take anything for itching? It’s most likely a side effect from ibrance or letrozole. Does Claritin help?

Letrozole
Hi everyone, I just wondered about the side effects of Letrozole. I had 7mm bc removed via lumpectomy, due to have radiotherapy soon, no chemo required. I am really struggling with the possible side effects of this drug. I know we are all individuals but just wondered if side effects are as hideous as

piqray
I was on Piqray and Fulvestrant for two years with MBC with the Piq mutation. A large percentage of us have it, but not all doctors test. I took it after Ibrance and everolimus/exemestane quit working. I wonder why Piqray isn’t included on the drop down list of treatments on this site. I’ve now

is this too many?
I have just worked out that since I was prescribed Verapamil, middle of June 2023, as a Pip, I have had 12 Af episodes when I have taken the pip (which sorts me out) I know I have had shorter af episodes since being on nebivolol, not reaching a high rate - I think the highest has been 138, maybe 142

Sister has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer
Hi, I really don’t know where to go so thought I might find some help/support here. I am the eldest of my 2 siblings. 3 years ago we lost my younger brother (23) to lung cancer 3 months after diagnosis. Now we have just found out my younger sister (37) has breast cancer. I’m so scared I’m going to lose

Tachycardia
Rather a long post I’m afraid. In 2000 I was 44 and developed unstable angina over 4 months. My husband had BUPA with his work so I saw a cardiologist quickly, put on aspirin, Bisoprolol and GTN. The cardiologist was always unsure whether it was a blockage to my LAD or a spasm and I was due to undergo

Former art teacher with a passion for travel
Former art teacher. I started traveling in my fifties and it became my passion (I’ve visited 41 countries so far!) until Covid and then my stage 4 diagnosis came. Diagnosed with IDC stage 3 in 2015. My great-grandmother had breast cancer in the 1920s, and an aunt had it when she was in her mid-eighties

Weekly Taxol/ Avastin
Hi Everyone,I am writing on behalf of my mum, aged 61. She appears to be a 'wild type' HGSOC stage 4. Diagnosed Feb 2021. Surgery wasn't an option due to poor response to front line carbo/ taxol... (2nd opinion by Dr Fotopoulou). It kept the disease stable but no improvement. CA125 stayed around 400

necrosis due to radiation
does anyone have experience with necrosis in the brain due to extensive radiation at the tumor sites? I was fine for a little over a year until the necrosis developed and then I lost my peripheral vision on the right side. The treatment for this necrosis is to go on steroids to help reduce the inflammation
