Stage 4 metastasis
Hi I had breast cancer 7yrs ago. I thought I had beat it, unfortunately it just came back in my supraclavicular node. I am on Ibrance and the injection Fulvestrant. I was wondering if anyone else was diagnosed with this. I’m very scared and depressed, the doctor said it’s not curable. I will be on

Bleeding and Pregnant
Hello Everyone, This week has been hell for me. I have finally worked up the strength to come on here and update everyone on my pregnancy progress. On Monday I had some red bleeding and mostly brown discharge at 5 weeks pregnant. I was so worried and assumed the worst. It’s been a week of real pain.

Switching to verzenio - progression to liver
I’ve been on Ibrance since 2016 with bone metA only. Now being switched to verzenio along with faslodex due to liver mets. Was just wondering how anyone handled this treatment and how long did it work. Very nervous over the side effects and just having liver mets. Any insight or tricks for the side

Can Letrozole account for shimmers all over my body?
As a woman relatively new to MBS to the liver, I have a lot of questions. I will begin with this most pressing one. Could Letrozole account for shimmers/trembling/feeling of electricity surging throughout my body, mostly in my legs but perhaps in concert with my heart pumping? The answers I have got

Peacock Feather
I want to share something that happened to me six years ago today. I was reminded about it when, just now while it was raining, I was having a good sort out of my treasured possessions, one of which is a peacock feather. What? Relevance? Here goes. Six years ago today I had a pain in my left breast

Hurrah!!!!
So excited. Just got my CT AND MRI results back and all three mets are stable (liver, lungs and spine). Have been off my main chemo for three weeks so am absolutely thrilled. Oncologist still wants me to take a few more weeks off as side effects of Xeloda on my tummy we’re so bad. So it is just denosumab

My Update

Glad to be part of an understanding group
Hi there I feel that this path is so long. Began in 2004 with bilateral mastectomy and TAC chemo. Then in 2014 tumor markers high pet scan showed bone meets. Faslodex added to Arimidex and now Ibrance is replacing Arimidex. Sometimes I feel that instead of the side effects I'd rather live my life free

Hi, has anyone had orbital decompression surgery
Hi everyone, I had orbital decompression 2 years ago and I still have numbness on both sides of my face, my eyes still wobble as I eat and they've become increasingly sensitive to light and I often feel as though I have something stuck in my eye (like a hair) but the reality is, there is nothing there

Removal of omentum
Hi. I had extensive surgery a couple of years ago which included the removal of the omentum and lympth modes in the groin. Has anyone had any side effects from this surgery? I've got to have reconstructive surgery as I have only skin covering my internal organs. Has anyone had a similar problem or swelling

Faslodex and stomach issues
Just wondering if anyone experiences stomach issues after faslodex shots. It seems that two or three days after the shots I get cramps, bloating, vomiting. I have ended up in hospital the last two months and feel a bit nervous about my upcoming injections.

Drinking green tea whilst on chemo?
Good morning ladies, I am wondering whether I can resume drinking green tea whilst I'm currently on taxotere? I've been a green tea drinker for a few years now but stopped when I started chemo as I'm certain I'd heard somewhere that it may inhibit the chemo. I have done a quick google search and it was

Hi newbie here
Hi, I’m Dawn from Wisconsin. In 2011 I was diagnosed at 53, with Mets to the bone. No prior history. I was given 6-12 months. I started on Avastin, Femara. About 2-3 years in I nearly died, and my doctor took me off Avastin. I remained on Femara. That’s held me stable until current. My markers are on

Progression - next possible treatment
Good morning ladies I’ve just checked on mumma hen and her two chicks 🐣🐣 all is well - they do get through their chick crumb and drink plenty.... Re. My progression, the letter arrived yesterday without the copies of my latest CT and MRI scan. However, the letter states the liver MRI has confirmed

Looking for some perspective
Hello all - I was diagnosed with breast cancer metastasis (hormone+, HER2-) in Nov 2019 in my liver and bones. My only line of treatment has been Ibrance 100mg and Faslodex injections 1x a month. My last PET scan in May showed no evidence of disease. It was certainly something to celebrate, but as we

Third Faslodex injections
Hi Ladies Just had my third injections of Faslodex today and from now on they’ll be monthly thank goodness...had bloods taken and my denosumab injection...lots of needles!! Anyway my markers have fallen for the first time in about 8 months so I’m hoping this is a good sign that it’s starting to work.

New AF
After 3 years of gruelling treatment for breast cancer I had an attack of AF while in hospital recovering from 8 hours of reconstructive surgery. This happened last May and we all assumed it was a one off. Then I had another incident in November and put on apaxiban and Bisoprolol, then in the last three

Tamoxifen
Hi Ladies my pharmacy informed me today they are out of stock of all brands of Tamoxifen apart from one brand which I can not tolerate. Apparently Uk wholesalers out of stock due to Covid 19 . which is a little worrying for everyone. I have my 4 monthly check up end of June (although haven't heard about

Recently diagnosed metastatic
Hello everyone I'm caroline, 39 and in the UK. July 2015 I was diagnosed with primary Her2 positive BC, had mastectomy, chemo, herceptin injections for 12 months, and radiotherapy, treatment ended Feb 2016 with NED. I had a bone scan just before lockdown here as I'd had the odd niggle of discomfort
