FYI Cure Magazine Cover Features TNBC
One of the very few "benefits" of having bc is that we can get a free subscription to Cure Magazine. The Feb 2019 issue just arrived at my house today, and it has a number of good resources listed, including financial help. And has an article about the role of immunotherapy in treating TNBC! TNBC

Support by drug? I want to stay here, I don’t feel so afraid with this group.
I was happy to find this site and have gotten to know some of the people by their posts. I couldn’t tolerate Ibrance so I’m now on verzenio which is working much better for me. I just couldn’t breathe on Ibrance and I tried to force myself to take it because it works so well on the cancer. I was diagnosed

Recent Metastasic Stage IV Breast Cancer
I was recently diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer. I am a mother of 4 and wife of 22 years. This news devasted me and our family to say the least. We are a family of faith and believing in Gods healing and long life. I would love to hear stories of other survivors. I know I'll be blessed

Scalp Mets
Just got biopsy results for small lump on scalp. Positive for breast cancer. My first official metastisis. Holy smokes! I haven’t cried this much since initial diagnosis. Anyone had or having this type of mets?

Life after diagnosis, surgery and treatment
Hi All! I was diagnosed in Nov 2017. I had a mastectomy in Dec 2017 followed by chemo from January to May 2018. I had HER2 so continued Herceptin until Dec 2018. Now I'm on an Estrogen blocker for 5 years and getting back to "normal". After losing most of my hair I was brave enough to go without

Tamoxifen & Side Effects
I have been taking tamoxifen since the beginning of January, no side effects for first 3 weeks, thought I’d got away with it, but sadly not. I’m not sleeping very well due to hot flushes which triggers anxiety (all 3 have a knock on effect with each other....catch 22!!). The severity some days feels

First ablation experience
I have found posts about ablation experiences really useful before I had mine for SVT two days ago, so hopefully recounting my experience will also help others. I had to be at Glenfield in Leicester for 11am, but didn’t go for my ablation until 2pm. I was really glad I took a book & magazines to read

Lymph node
Hi, I'm new to this group, I'd like to ask a question. A lymph node 9mm was found after a ct scan, I've had another mammogram and ultra sound which showed 7mm so discharged. My question is should I have follow up if so how often to check? Thank you in advance

Was anyone on this list “cancer free” until her initial diagnosis at stage IV? Also do you feel worse on the 7 days off?
I was diagnosed Jan 3rd 2019 with secondary neoplasm to the bone. (Ribs and some in hip), and they think the primary source is breast cancer bc there was estrogen in the biopsy of my hips. But I just had a breast MRI and the tumor is so small it seems it is not detectable. I am on Ibrance, Femara and

Seeking second opinion for Her2+ Er+Pr- MBC?
I’m getting a second opinion Friday from the Hillman Cancer Center our of Pittsburgh. Currently I’m going to a cancer center in my community. Nice people...but no access to genetic testing, trials etc. My question is I’m currently on Herceptin Perjeta XGeva Zoladex and Arimidex. I’ve heard that 3-4 things

**UPDATE ON MY MUMS FIRST SCAN RESULTS FOLLOWING FIRST LINE CHEMO**
My mum finally got her report from the consultant meeting. Her CA125 has dropped down to 50 now but he doesn't seem to concerned about that as she had a problem with her wound and it does say she has some strandling on the peritoneal showing in the CT but it's unclear whether it's from surgery or any

2nd Chemo for my wife!
My wife 66 year old is not tech savvy hence as a care giver I am sharing her exp. Will show the posts and responses to her as she needs support to go through the side effects of chemo and face it up. About 4 weeks ago she had mild pain in her left breast and she noticed a lump. After mammo, MRI PET CT

Has anyone had to wait months for treatment?
Has anyone had to wait FOUR MONTHs for treatment? I had a masectomy on Nov. 5th with partial reconstruction at that time with an expander. I did not get a clean margin but I have no lymph node involvement. I had a CT scan a few weeks ago in prep. for radiation and then was told that it could not be

Anyone else had similar issue?
Just returned from the hospital after having lower pelvic pain and some brown discharge. I’m 17 weeks and this is our 2nd try at IVF. So anxious at the pain and discharge after a long time trying to conceive midwife suggested we go to A&E to check it out. After an exam, cervix was closed and they put
