Xeloda and another drug
Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone is taking Xeloda with another drug. I recently got a surgery to remove endometrial cancer and the biopsy showed spread to abdominal cavity and gyno organs that were removed. I am on Xeloda now and it’s helping bones and liver. I wonder maybe something else has to be added

Metastatic breast cancer Spread to abdominal cavity. Please share
Hi everyone, I recently was diagnosed with the endometrial cancer and underwent a surgery. The endometrial cancer was stage 1b high grade ocerous tumor. But it was not a concern and further treatment was not needed. The concern was that the pathology report showed breast cancer spread to 6 lymph nodes

Immune system
I'm on ibrance 125 and letrozole. I've been taking part in an office for national statistics study since start of lockdown. I've had four vaccines. My results yesterday said I have antibodies present at a higher level. My last vaccine was February. It has renewed my confidence about being out and about

What else is available?
I have done Carbo/Taxol, Avastin, Carbo/Caelyx, Rubrac a and now Anastrazole. I have a scan coming up, but lately can feel the cancer spreading and am resorting to pain killers. Can anyone who has had this many lines of chemo tell me what else was available for them to try, and also how successful it

Changes
Hi everyone, my last scan showed some progression so I’m off Ibrance and faslodex (only got 13 months with that combo) now on Everolimus and exemestane. Anyone have any experiences to share? Hopefully good ones? Thanks Patty

MBC and cruising
Thank you everyone for your contribution regarding travel insurance and cruising. I have had a drug free holiday with the permission of my Oncologist that allowed me to have a wonderful break away with my husband to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. V&O treatment in ‘The Kitchen’
I’m moving onto the next stage of treatment on Monday…it all starts with a quick trip to Guy’s on Monday to pick up my Venetoclax from one of the lovely specialist cancer nurses. I’ve then got a relatively intensive schedule for the next 5 weeks, of going into hospital for pill taking and blood monitoring

Hormone therapy…
Hi ladies. I’ve noticed lots of you ladies are on Faslodex. What is the difference between Letrozole and Faslodex. I’ve googled it and it says it the same hormone therapy. Then why some people here on Faslodex? Is it better in terms of tolerance and why shots? Thank you, Saba

Switching from Faslodex to Xeloda
Hi All, I hope your journeys will be easy this week. I had my every-six-months CT scan a couple of weeks ago. The results were pretty good, but there seems to be some development in and about my liver. At my appointment this morning, the oncologist reported that he is switching me off the hormonal

Interesting when drugs work on some things not the other
So my story continues lol. I had 2 bone mets and a 3 cm leisions on my liver. Ibrance, letrozol got rid of the bone leisions. Didn't touch the liver, in fact it grew. Off of Ibrance onto fulvestrant and letrozole. That kept everything at bay, but liver still grew. Now went from 3cm last yr to 9 cm
