Uncertain diagnosis
I was diagnosed with RA by a rhumatology consultant back in 2015. They put me on all the rhumatology meds and even tried biologics with no success. Now in 2023 a different consultant has stated he doesn't think I have RA but I may have fibromyalgia but he won't commit to this. He has taken me off my

Vitamin D supplements and elevated blood work
here is my story and my question. Everything has been going well for me for about a year. Blood work stable, tumor marker test levels decreasing and stable scans. However, recently I was diagnosed with very low levels of vitamin D and began supplementation with 50,000 IU once a week. Since I misunderstood

Just stumbled across this site. I'm a MBC Thriver!! In July 2017 it was confirmed that I in fact had HR+ HER2- BC after years of mammograms and ultrasounds. I always knew it was cancer that was causing my issues. At 39 most OB/GYN play it off as hormone changes. What was the final straw was I lost my

Breast cancer
Hi folks, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of this year. My first surgery removed a lump and 2 lymph nodes, the second was to take more shavings. As a result of that it found more cells which led to having a mastectomy . At my follow up appt yesterday they've decided to put me on Letrozole

Synacthen Test looming in a moment...quick query
Morning all, I've been missing this forum due to events taking a turn for the worst. I'm at the lowest ever dose 5mg pred. Not been feeling well since January, loss of appetite, occasional vomiting, the worst insomnia and even more fatigued. Upper endoscopy showed 'sliding hernia' (gp's suggestion).

possible ONJ-- seeing an oral surgeon for the first time tomorrow morning
My dentist referred me to an oral surgeon as I have a small area of exposed bone behind my right lower molar, and have been on meds for bone mets (Zometa first, now Xgeva) since diagnosis in 2004. I've done well in terms of the bone mets and the women I have met who've had ONJ have generally done well

Taxol For MBC
Good morning. After taking Ibrance w/ Fulvestrant for 8 mos., it stopped working 2 mos. ago. The next plan is Piqray w/ Fulvestrant, but the side effect were too much - especially to my one remaining eye (the mucous membrane). Next plan, which I should begin this Wed. if ins. approves, is Taxol infusions

is it too much to hope for shrinkage?
I’m stage 4 in breast, liver, multiple bones and lung. Been attempting completely natural for over 2 years. Last scan showed some improvement but the breast tumor is getting harder and larger. So now going all in with what my amazing oncologist is suggesting. Started on Ibrance and Anastrozole this last

Forehead lump biopsy
I'm hoping someone can shine some light on my recent experience. I had a lump on my forehead that the dermatologist removed last week. The initial thought was a lipoma. The pathology report came back as a reactive lymph node. Has anyone had this happen? They are sending it out for additional pathology

Holiday inspiration!
Hi lovely ladies, After reading about Beth’s amazing travels in New Zealand, I hope to encourage you to follow your dreams with travel when you can. I am from the UK, and was crushed when I had to cancel my planned silver wedding anniversary trip to New England twice, the first time because of the pandemic

New to this
Hi All, I'm so new to this that I'm still in the diagnosis phase. Went in for regular blood work today and came back with lymphocytes at 7.7K, low monos, which triggered a slid, which shows atypical lymphocytes. Language below: Lymphocytosis with atypical lymphocytes and smudge cells. Clinical
