Strengthening bones
HI All! Researching what I can do for my bones to help. I have had my fill of zoledronic acid and zometa. Currently on a break from them. My Onco. went 2 years on, then 3 years off, then 2 years on…to preserve my jaw. I am current of for another year and a half before she will consider another round

Getting Xeloda delivered Wednesday
Yesterday I got a phone call from a specialty pharmacist who will be sending my first round of Xeloda out on Monday. She had questions for me and told me I will be on a 3 week schedule, 2 weeks taking Xeloda twice a day and then 1 week off. They will phone me to see how I am doing and then send me

Leave tomorrow for 7 weeks in New Zealand! Feel feee to skip this depressing health update!
Hi gals, As I pack for my 7 week trip to New Zealand, I have understandable trepidation that I didn’t have this past September when I went to Auckland NZ for a whole month- all by myself. But with this trip, I’m still reeling from the recent news of spread all over the abdomen, now dealing with

Lymphedema after mastectomy & sentinel node biopsy
Hello,I was wondering if anyone has experienced lymphedema in their arm 1 year + after a sentinel node biopsy. I had a hysterectomy procedure yesterday and they told me I can't have IV's, blood draws or blood pressure checks in my right arm because they removed lymph nodes. I had a colonoscopy in October

xeloda or nothing?
My most recent scans showed progression. Neither of my oncologists are optimistic. I've exhausted all the IV chemotherapies. Oh, and I'm stage IV TNBC and have been for 11 years. It's been a long road. I thought I'd post to get some feedback. I've chosen not to do Piqray because of side effects. The

I am really struggling with the side effects of the various pain killers, blood pressure meds and water tablets; everything seems to list nausea, constipation and sleepiness as a side effect. Hello All! I was recently diagnosed with Stage 0 Noninvasive DCIS breast cancer, my surgery is scheduled for the 29th, however, during the MRI (which the Surgeon wanted before surgery) they found something very small in the left breast, that will be biopsied on the 19th. I'm supposed to have surgery

Swollen Lymph Nodes
Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this journey: feeling fine, all blood numbers are great, so no treatment at this point although in December of 2021 a lymph node enlarged in my left groin and was excised surgically. Pathology was fine just an unknown infection. Now, a year later I have a tremendous

I’ve been taking Ibrance 75 mg two weeks on two weeks off for 3 1/2 years Took a while to get the Ibrance balance. I take letrozole daily. Scans taken every 4 months have shown no progression. I had a double mastectomy and bone lesions on my spine. I followed Joe Tippens protocol for 2 years. I did

Hello everyone, my mum ( mets to three mediastinal lymph nodes from 2018) had a Pet scan on Monday and we are awaiting the result (a lot of anxiety obviously, even if with the latest blood tests the TM Ca 15.3 was at 24 (range 0-32) and she started from a 43 at the beginning of all treatments in 2018

Latest Fish test results??
I just had another Fish test completed due to the fact that the Ibrutinib that I have been on for almost 5 years is not working as well anymore. In my first Fish test many many years ago I was Trisomy 12 .The new report now shows that I have acquired both deletions of 13q and 17p and still have Trisomy

Sick of feeling ill
I am on Edoxaban and Verapamil 120mg only. Since 2021 when first starting beta blockers after having a pacemaker fitted I've had nothing but trouble. The GP's don't have an answer for me with various differing ' diagnosis '. I've posted before and at this moment in time have pretty much constant chest
