Concern about another cancer
On trial of Ibrutinib and venetoclax for 3 months. Very concerned because I got called to have a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound after my routine mammogram. Is it common to have another cancer with Cll. Thank you

Pertuzumab & Herceptin
Hello Ladies Have any of you been on Pertuzumab and Herceptin for longer than a year and if so what side-effects are you having? I am continuing to suffer from an itchy scalp, itchy neck and itchy forearms. I addition I have chronic diahorrea/IBS symptoms. More recently I have been feeling very tired

Got My Scan Results
Thanks to all for prayers and good wishes. I just got my scan results. The best news would have been that nothing has changed. Guess I got second best News: no new lesions but some have grown And Onc wants to stop letrozole and start Faslodex. I have read about women on this board who take this. My

mbc spread in bones and liver
Just wondering about others out there that have had success in treatment of MBC. After breast cancer and a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation and making my 5 years, I have now been told the breast cancer has moved to my liver and bones. Was taking Ibrance but apparently it stopped working. Now on Afinitor

A weight has been lifted!
Hi my lovely ladies, had hospital appointment on Friday, and got my results on the Octotype test, and luckily don't require Chemotherapy, my risk of reaccurance is low so , to be honest I'm quite relieved, So next step is Tamoxifen for 5years, and Radiotherapy for 3 weeks, also possibly hormone injection

Good appointment!
I had my CMP done and ALT was only thing that was higher at 49. My Ca 2729 was down only 7 but I’m only taking Faslodex. I got my Faslodex injections and tolerated well. No need for scans as I haven’t been on anything to test. Now September is when I start something but not sure what. I believe all of

Struggling with news of relapse
I am new to the forum but have already gained so much from how supportive everyone is. I am really struggling at the moment. I was diagnosed stage 4 in August 2017 with a strange presentation of swollen gland in my neck - no other symptoms. Scan showed swollen nodes but no other evidence of disease so

Essential oils
Hello. Just wondering if anyone has used any essential oils while going thru treatment with Ibrance and letrozole. I have been using painaway for the muscle pain in my neck from the enlarged lymph nodes and it seems to help. So I was wondering if anyone was using them to acutually help treat the cancer

Confused tag name! And an update..:-)
Hello all of you that earlier replied to me! Thank you!! I am now in Manchester and just on the regular Taxol . I came up to discuss a trial and was admitted and ended up in the ward for a couple of weeks! I still wanted to join the trial ( the trial was soooo close but fell at last hurdle - so upset

30 Years and counting
I can really relate to your 24 Year thing. I’m about 30 years in now. Aged 64. Are you in permanent AF? I have been since 2001 since overdoing it at the Gym. Magnesium really helps. And I’m on Tildiem (Calcium Channel blockers). Had Digoxin for a year and it does help. As you say we often are own best

Chemotherapy schedule okay?
I met my doctor today & he suggested 6 cycles of CAF every 21 days. I am 41 years old, TNBC, stage 2a, grade 2, all lymph nodes clear, margins clear. I had mastectomy on 15 June. My question is standard procedure for TNBC is 4 AC followed by 12 weekly taxol. Why is mine different??? Do i need to have
