Tumor markers
My tumor markers started at 47 to 18 to now 9. My ct scan showed all cancer was contained and no new lesions. My oncologist said this is good news. I’m on ibrance, letrozole, and zometa since December 2017. I’m happy for the good news! Has anyone else had their tumor markers decline? Did they go back

NHS won't replace my implants!
I have inherited a faulty BRCA2 gene with my mother and sister dying from ovarian cancer. Because I was alerted there was a connection between breast cancer and ovarian cancer, my breast cancer was discovered early. After a mastectomy and implants over 20 years ago, I was told by the hospital that

Oncologist appointment results as promised.
Sorry girls, this is a long winded post but as promised I am writing with the results of my appointment today with the lovely Dr G. To be perfectly honest, I really don’t know what to make of it. When I last saw him in July it was the day after my PET scan and the results had not been sent across to

Has anyone else on this forum had PV and moderate risk of familial breast cancer?
I have been diagnosed with pv for 2 years managing to maintain levels with venesections 3-6 monthly. I have always known at some point I’d b advised to take medication as a preventative for my risk of familial breast cancer. Now being post menapausal they r advising to start aromatose inhibitors

Week 4 of Ibrance side effects
Hi, I'm posting this for my Mother. She's on Ibrance and Letrozole for about a year now. She seems to be tolerating it well other than the fatigue. She has noticed that on her week off (week 4) she tends to get dizzy and nauseous but not on week 1-3. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this just part

I had masectomy in one
breast
last year and
reconstruction
through tram flap.Twice I got rashes in my arm..once due to a cut and second time, I probably slept on it. Recently , I got a rash on my treated breast and chills and fever as it happened earlier too! So, I am again on antibiotics.

The new normal
Hi ladies, Your stories inspire me so much that I needed some advice and since we are all in the same boat I am hoping you can help. To make a long story short, I started on Ibrance and Letrozole which didn't work. Went on a trial that while it cleared the lesions on my liver i couldn't continue because
