Statin use and thyroid cancer: a population-based case–control study
I'll keep it brief:
Conclusions
We concluded that statin use was associated with thyroid cancer in female patients. Abstract of paper here: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/cen.12570/abstract A possibly more readable write-up of that paper is here: http://www.medpagetoday.com

Does anyone suffer from upper back pain with IBS?
Along with IBS I have constant stiffness between my shoulder blades.. I told the doctor and he tested my liver and gallbladder.. guess that is a cue for something more seriou; however, that came out normal.. I am just curious if any of you experience upper or lower back discomfort along with your GI

Anyone else been prescribed Co-beneldopa for RSL?
Hi all, I hope you are all as well as can be. As per the thread title has anyone else been prescribed Co-beneldopa for RLS, as I have just been. I have been trying to get by without extra meds, as I take enough for my fibromyalgia & other things, but it was proving to be a fight I couldn't win so after

Rectal bleeding
Hey everyone. I haven't posted here for a while. I hope you are all doing okay. Since my hospital admission in May I have noticed an improvement, I think my coil is starting to work. I'm still in a lot of pain though, but it's more under control than it was. However over the last few days I have had

question about oc
My sister had ovarian cancer, went through a full hysterectomy and chemotherapy treatments in 2000. Since that time she has had to go back for chemotherapy a few times and a couple small surgeries as the cancer spread to other areas. I should also mention that she has been on maintenance chemotherapy
