Hi dawnlancaster
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I have pasted you a link below to our mother site, FibroAction, it has loads of useful Fibro information on it.
I am so sorry to read of the pain that you have been suffering and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to these issues. I see that you are on a lot of medications and we have to remember that sometimes the side effects can mimic the illness itself? So it is always advisable to check these things out with a doctor or specialist? I would definitely recommend seeing a Rheumatologist and a Physiotherapist, as they (in my experience) appear to understand more than just a GP?
I sincerely hope that you find the answers that you desperately desire and deserve.
All my hopes and dreams for you

thanks ken but I feel I can't carry on in this much pain I feel as if I'm on my own
Hi dawnlancaster
My heart really goes out to you, and I am feeling your pain and sorrow. I want to tell you that you are not alone, as we are all in this together and we are all here to help! I was wondering if you have tried other GPs at your surgery? As there maybe another doctor who is a bit more understanding?
Also, have you ever considered joining a Fibro group in your area? As there would be other people there who genuinely understand how you are feeling? I have pasted you a couple of links below to group directories, it may be worth a try?

As a last resort (it is not something I would usually recommend) but have you tried going along to A&E (after GP hours) and explaining how much pain that you are in? Another thought would be to visit a walk-in centre and explain to them, as they may refer you to your local hospital for further testing?
Please remember that there are always possibilities, other avenues to explore and there is always a new day whereby you could genuinely change things for the better.
I want to wish you all the best of luck and please keep in touch.
All my hopes and dreams for you

So sorry sweetheart. Have you been to a pain clinic? I was in so much pain and they put me on Opana ER and it saved my life. As for the sweats I'm finding that my body temp has been going a little crazy this last year. I'm hot when I was normally cool, and vise verse. It's so frustrating. Hope you can find some relief and that this helps!!! xxx Mitzi
