Does Pred. cause Diabetes 2?
My blood test of 30 Sept 2024 shows a glucose reading of 45 in a range of 42-47 as prediabetic. My GP has flagged up to be discussed at next appointment. I wondered if taking Pred for 2 years and now down to 7.5 mg has any bearing on this reading before I contact the GP? The reading was 41 in the

My post yesterday about having first Lola blood testing missing from this morning’s Daily Digest
I noticed that it didn’t appear. Is it because it’s my own post? Did other people see it this morning? Maybe the Daily Digest just makes a selection of the previous day’s posts? I thought I was seeing all the posts.

Failed 1st FET
Hi All, I just found out last week my first FET failed. I couldn't get my lining up above 6.3mm and the clinic were happy to go ahead as I had a lovely triple line and even during my egg collection my lining only made it to 6.8mm. I was taking pomegranate juice and l-arginine throughout to hopefully

6 monthly review.
Hi, I’ve just got a little quandary. I had my 6 monthly US scan 4 weeks ago with bloods taken at my Drs. However, I’ve still not received any results. As far as I’m aware the consultant operates a “virtual appointment” system. I checked with my Drs about the blood test and they said all results would

Covid jab - when to have it
I’m wondering when in their chemo cycle people have had their Covid jab? The oncology nurse said to have it as close as possible to my next chemo (before obviously) so my immune system is at its best. I’m worried it will affect my blood test results or I’ll get ill and have to postpone my chemo. I presume

Developments since my second basal cortisol test showed adrenal function is not quite up to speed.
I had a call from the specialist nurse yesterday telling me that I would be receiving details of a clinic appointment. An hour later the appointment showed up in the NHS app for 7th October. It appears that this was prompted by my blood test last Thursday showing CRP at 17- up from 5 in July. Seems to

Urgent Blood test and scan
Morning, following on from my post a few days ago about my private blood test results, I have this morning had my GP appointment. She has requested an urgent blood test which I have to attend at 9.40. I have also had a cup of coffee at approx 6.30am this morning. Previously members of the group advised

What is going on ?
It's a month since my last post and I am desperate. I am back at work and I'm ok during the day, but on a night the pain is as bad as during augmentation. I'm now taking 300 mg Pregabalin and all night from about 9.30 till about 1am I can't sleep. My legs are painful, jumping and sometimes unbearable

Hypertension and B12
Just wondering if others have had issues with B12-raised hypertension? I've suffered with hypertension for a while (>5 years) and it has gone through periods of being controlled by medication, only to see the blood pressure start to climb again after a year or two, necessitating a change in medication

breathless
It’s 3 weeks since I had 4 stents. Fitted in a not so comfortable angioplasty, and I feel worse this week than I did last week. The nausea seems to be worse, I sleep a couple of hours and then awake most of night before dozing for another hour in the morning. Last 3 days I’ve been quite breathless
