Advice on ‘normal’ test results
Hi I’ve recently joined and wanted some guidance on
blood
tests
that my doctors are saying need no action. I went struggling with neck pain and neurological symptoms and they ordered full bloods.

Blood tests
Is Medichecks the best one to use and do they still do their discount for thyroid tests? Is there any other recommended? For my last 2 tests I used Monitor My Health which I have to say is the cheapest ever at £29 but its the NHS one and I believe is accessible by your GP and I don't see why I should

Struggling again
I am seen by a haematologist for a blood related condition and they said I didn’t need a folate supplement as their
blood
tests
which I don’t see are satisfactory and I am not anaemia . I am a bit afraid to take one against this advice but feeling really rubbish and very anxious .

Routine GP blood tests
Can hardly bear the pain, burning, numbness, stiffness and fatigue. Have lived with this for many years. Then there are the flare ups, severe and knock me sideways. I had routine bloods done last week, came back within normal range., including the inflammation one. This particular GP, does not think

Tests required after more troubles with thyroxine
Hello, I’m after a bit of advice re
blood
tests
. Long story short, in 2019 it appeared that thyroxine was actually making me gain weight (a stone and a half in a short space of time) while diet and exercise remained the same.

PSA from secondary deposits!
I was then on annual PSA
blood
tests
, but now they have put them up to 3 monthly as the PSA has risen, although still very low at around 0.2 .

I really need some help please...
The Rhuematologist is saying no as I don't have any visible swelling and my inlimation markers are normal in the
blood
tests
. I said I would stop taking the Sulfasalazine and Hydroxychloroquine as they were't working. He just shrugged.

Odd ways of discovering you had PCa
Doctor gave me a physical, and a battery of
blood
tests
. Couldn't figure out why hands and feet getting raw. PSA returned as 9, had RALP the next month. Ironically rash disappeared after surgery. 9 months ago, rash came back, my PSA hit 0.2 then 0.4. Started Zytiga and Lupron.

B12 or something else?
Or should I be reassured that the B12 supplements are doing their job as the
blood
tests
would suggest? Many thanks

Hyperthyroid help
I had
blood
tests
last week (14.11.23) only to discover that my T3 is 20.1 pmol/L, previously 4.6 pmol/L (Sept) and TSH is 0.01 mlU/L, previously 0.94mlU/L (Sept), my heart rate is also higher than normal at rest, so my surgery is referring me back to the hospital.

Any suggestions to sitting in hospital for hours waiting for INR test
It must be a
blood
test as the pin prick
tests
proved unreliable in my case. I spend hours and hours waiting at St Barts for a blood test which is where I am registered at the anticoagulant clinic. I just can't deal with hours of waiting around.
