Thank u Marlene. Yes all good here.I want to keep in touch with everyone going forward, even tho I'm OK atm. I was ever so grateful at beginning after my TT in June for Yr support. It really helped me.
You are all wonderful people, doing Yr best everyday. Keep on keeping on xxxx
Hi Dolly, I’m so pleased to hear you’re doing so well. Have you had the results from your thyroid removal yet? It turned out my nodule was cancer, then I had a ct scan to check my neck and chest (all clear!) where they found a lump on one of my adrenal glands. Very scary but I had another ct on Monday and on Wednesday I was told it’s benign which is amazing. Hopefully life can get back to a bit of normal now xxx
That's fabulous news Baby. Well done for keeping calm and having the scans. Not expected to b cancer for me and no still not had discharge from consultant yet. Still under Endo atm. I was so terribly poorly and not really expected to recover as well as I have done so that is why I've not seen consultant yet. Plus my voice hasn't fully healed but I'm not worried. My eldest son is taking me to corfu next week. I feel so excited. Like u say, it's good a bit of normality can return. We are all so lucky really and to those who are struggling right now. It will get better. The advice about vits n ferrate etc is just invaluable. Do as much as u can for yrself.
I'm so extremely grateful to the team who operated on me and aftercare. Surgeon said to me I'll b like a new woman in 12 months and I was sooooo sceptical. But here I am, and I believe him now.
It's fantastic place here with u all. Such special people, looking out for each other on this journey. Xx
