Tests show fatty liver but I seem to have Terry's Nails?
My
blood
tests
have always come back in a normal range- alt and ast below 25. With the exception of one test last year where they were 38 and 48. They went down after modifying my diet. I felt reassured as I do have health anxiety. And I think pregnancy hormones have worsened this anxiety.

ama2 positive but nhs doing nothing
hiya, I tested AMA positive in 2009 whilst doing
blood
tests
. They wondered if I had MS. This was not a high positive (though it’s my understanding that it doesn’t matter: a positive is a positive). They did not do anything about it. No checks at all other than normal bloods.

Thin with NAFLD - treatment successes?
I was diagnosed with NAFLD through
blood
tests
and biopsy in 2021. A result of low enzyme production from not having a pancreas, bile duct or gallbladder (whipple surgery for pancreatic tumor). I’m 56 yrs old, 5’7” and 120 lbs. I have always exercised and eaten healthy.

T3 too high?
This time my endocrinologist specifically asked me to have my
blood
tests
two hours after taking my normal Amour dose, as I've been having quite severe anxiety.

Incidence of Large Vessel Vasculitis in late diagnosis of PMR
My own relatively short undiagnosed journey to the eventual prednisolone and blessed relief consisted of increasing symptoms and approximately two-weekly
blood
tests
where after each one the GP read my results and apologised for being unable to suggest a cause of my increasing pain that was gradually

Bad Week
The hospital were fabulous and completed ECG twice as my results show AF and damage, X ray and
blood
tests
showed it was my chronic pain not another cardiac arrest. Went home after having morphine.

I was just changed from monthly
blood
tests
to 6 months and 6 month check ups....the doc said I was stable and there was a good chance i would never need treatment. I am 76 and maybe he thought I would naturally not live that long.

After my
blood
tests
last week I was asked to go in on Thursday for a transfusion, as haemoglobin only 69. Felt better for a few days after that but started to get breathless again from Tuesday. Had another transfusion today. Nurse said I might need them weekly for a while.

Thyroid-S
My last
blood
tests
showed my T3 was just out of the ratio level. (Low side). I know many t3/t4 ndt(natural designated thyroid) Thyroid supplier's have changed their ingredients and levels - with astorshinate price rises. But apparently Thyroid-S was one of the cheapest?

Worried
I was due to go on holiday abroad so GP did some
blood
tests
. ESR was 10 so reassured me everything ok. I have had mild lupus for nearly 30 years but Rheumatology discharged me in 2021 because bloods were negative.

After two gastroscopies, gut biopsies, numerous
blood
tests
(largely inconclusive) and finally a skin biopsy, I was diagnosed with scleroderma in June 2019.
