thyroid and fertility
I’ve had 7
blood
tests
to test My Tsh levels which have ranged from 2.6-1.4 in this time. My Tsh level seems to consistently be around 2.4. Could this be effecting my fertility? I’ve spoken to the Gp and they said it’s all within normal ranges.

Blood Test Advice Please
Hello All Having recently started on a trial for T3 (as well as my normal T4 dose) I am due some
blood
tests
next Monday. Do I have to stop ALL B supplements from today or just B6? I have a simple Folate/B12 supplement which I can use instead of my normal B Complex.

Is it needed and safe for my mom to supplement with folate or B12?
She had
blood
tests
this month that show her RBC and TIBC low and her MCV and MCH high. Does this indicate she has a deficiency in either folate or B12? She's always supplementing some amount of B12 and her B12 level is normal.

update
But, I have now been for X-rays and
blood
tests
and my GP said when everything comes back to go see her and we will take it from there. So, now back to waiting and see. But again, a huge thank you for all your input and information you gave me.

Impending GP appointment advice
Since then I have been having the usual 6-8 week
blood
tests
and in February finally reached a dosage of 100mcg daily. My current weight suggests a therapeutic dose should be closer to 200.

Blood test time - still no better
Hello I'm posting again to get views on my latest
blood
tests
, although I think it's probably same as last time. I just don't get anywhere with my doctor. Last time some of you were saying that I possibly had poor conversion and I think my results this time are showing similar sort of numbers.

I was just diagnosed F3 with NAFLD but all blood tests normal what now?
My story is somewhat complicated by the fact that I did have Hep C from 2009-2020, now cured. My fibroscan and fibrotest showed F1 in 2018. No repeat scans were done before cure of Hep C but I had been stable since 2012 at F1 (was told this was normal no concerns). In 2009 also diagnosed with NAFLD.

Steroid-based inhaler warning
So, the purpose of this post is to recommend to anybody who uses a steroid-based preventer inhaler, ensure that your routine follow-ups include
blood
tests
for adrenal insufficiency, and if your GP won't do them, get them done elsewhere.

Iron Levels
Doctor also did iron
blood
tests
. These are my results as per lab printout: IRON: 12umol/L, Ferritin: 210 ug/L, Transferrin: 1.75 g/L, Iron saturation 29%. This is my question: It appears that my Ferritin levels are fine but my Transferrin level is low.

CALR and DNMT3A
I recently, on request, had an appointment and
blood
tests
with an MPN specialist.
Blood
tests
show that I have CALR plus DNMT3A. Does anyone have any information and insight about this? My main questions are, Firstly, how could the CALR be missed in my original diagnosis?

Help! Have I messed up
He has, however, offered
blood
tests
including MMA and Intrinsic Factor, although he didn’t know what MMA was. Although he was probably right that the supplements will affect the results.

pains in head
Lost much sight in right eye in June, an eye-stroke, proved not GCA from scans and
blood
tests
at the time and two temporal biopsies three weeks ago. Out of the blue Friday morning, during breakfast several internal stabbing pains in the head, only on the left side, above the good eye.

Do my blood test results indicate a Thyroid issue?
I recently had thyroid
blood
tests
due to symptoms and a goitre. The results have come back but my GP said nothing can be done but I could be headed towards a thyroid issue in the future with the high Antibodies.

Low t3 with high t4, graves.
Following my thyroid through private
blood
tests
, tsh has been dropping significantly the past couple of tests (always taken same time of day) and is now hitting borderline low at 0.4 (0.35 is the low level limit), t4 has risen to 19.5 (21 high limit) but t3 is only 3.95 (3.1-6.8) a slight rise since

Update on stroke and painful back
I'm still to have monthly
blood
tests
for him, and go back in 3 months. He is so thorough. I had the pleasure of meeting another nz member on Thursday who came to Pukekohe to dog sit for her son. It was so nice to meet a kindred spirit and both of us are in the pmr gardening group.

What to push for next
Beyond
blood
tests
, I'm not sure they know what is the best course of action. Am I better off ditching the folic acid and just taking a B complex and what shall I push for at the GP appointment? Thanks
