My Gabapentin Dilemma
I’ve had several
blood
tests
over a couple years and my iron levels are: Total Iron level is 61 to 110. Ferritin is 112 to 133. Saturation is 22 to 33%. Binding capacity is 275 to 291. I took Pramipexole for over 30 years and it worked.

Breathlessness when walking up slight gradients/stairs
Had various
blood
tests
but nothing dramatic there, sent for Xray, no problems found, so sent for a CT scan using injected dye (for those who have not experienced this, it gives you a warm feeling in your nether region, akin to having an accident).

TSH level increase after total thyroidectomy(8 years ago)
I have my check-ups every year and last year there were no issues in both
blood
tests
and ultrasound results. What do you think could be the cause of this situation? My doctor's appointment is in 4 days, but I am very curious about this situation.

Implications of no follow up appointments
The RA nurse today said there were no appointments for months and wanted me to transfer to my GP for monthly
blood
tests
and repeat prescriptions. Will this mean that I will not be able to get my medication improved until I see a consultant? Surely it ought to be better than this.

Test results show no inflammation
My
blood
tests
did show that my T4 levels were quite low [although TSH looks reasonable] so I have asked my GP to increase my levothyroxine dosage as I am only on 50mg at the moment.

Pregnancy urine test or blood test?
Just called my current clinic and they said they don't normally do pregnancy
blood
tests
and if I did want one I would only be able to have it on my OTD and I would need to pay for it myself.

advice with latest results
There were no
blood
tests
done at the time of the scan to get an updated picture of my thyroid function so I asked for them to be done myself. My Doctor told me the results were fine when they came back to which I asked if he was sure , as I felt awful.

Latest blood test results. Advice please!
I just wanted to ask some advice as the last two
blood
tests
I have had showed a borderline underactive thyroid, but the GP won't do anything until the TSH is over 10. My previous blood test showed a reading of 5.9 mu/L.

I am looking to have
blood
tests
for my diabetes as a matter of course and I plan at that time to have iron and ferritin levels checked also. I'll update again in due course.

John has had recent
blood
tests
, that look to me low thyroid even though of course there was no T3 reading. Has anyone got suggestions on how to take, and the best products as I understand it also comes in powder form.

Best time for blood tests?
Hi I have seen a few posts recently that it's best to have bloods done at 9am. All my previous bloods have been 8.10-8.20 As I was read on here the earlier the better. Is it worthwhile changing the time next bloods or just keep the same time?

Struggling again
I am seen by a haematologist for a blood related condition and they said I didn’t need a folate supplement as their
blood
tests
which I don’t see are satisfactory and I am not anaemia . I am a bit afraid to take one against this advice but feeling really rubbish and very anxious .

Blood
tests
were ok as were ECGs but Dr in A&E wasn't prepared to send me home. Packed off to AAU (acute assessment unit) where the medical drs and consultant backed the a&e doc and pushed for cardiology to admit me. Been here since friday and my angiogram will now be done as an inpatient.

Low iron test results and a way forward please
I had some
blood
tests
recently and am wanting advice on a way forward, please. My serum iron level and my transferrin saturation index are both below the minimum level on the reference ranges. My serum ferritin is only just above the minimum on the reference range.
